I guarantee you, those numbers will go down next time Wlad fights in the US, unless its vs Wilder..

    Was a stink-fest display

I remember threads here that that predicted nobody cared about the fight. Of course from one of the usual suspects, but still.

They were there for Hayden Penettiere, not Wlad.

Yeah, boxing is making a big comeback, and people are craving big HW fights. I even went to the garden to watch it live, too bad it wasn't a better fight.

WLad's got 2 more fights on his HBO contract left, hopefully he has better showings

1 more fight in his HBO contract which will be Fury. Fat Dan has said HBO is willing to do whatever it takes to show Wlad vs Wilder when the time comes.

I was there for the fight thought it was a good fight. Competitive. Not great but not a dud.
Wlad has one fight remaining on his HBO deal. Which will be Fury. Don't think he will renew because he wants Wilder. After that he may sign back on on a per fight basis.
Interest is clearly gaining momentum in the HW divsion. Wlad chasing history and Americans and British finally putting out some worthy challengers.

Imagine Wlad vs Wilder on NBC, primetime :admin
Wilder would be a worthy sacrifice for the PBC brand.

Thats genuinely surprising. I like Wlad, but i didn't expect him to pull in significantly more than Provodnikov/Matthysse.

As far as wilder, last i checked, he was a Showtime guy. Why all the confidence that he will be able to fight Wlad on HBO? did I miss something?

Wilder is a Haymon fighter so yes that means Showtime or the PBC shows on CBS or NBC. HBO wants to try and stage Klitschko-Wilder that doesn't mean they will just they are going to do their best. I don't think Haymon will work with them and not so sure he will work with K2 either so the fight might be hard to make. I would think if K2 and Haye could come to a deal than they could certainly deal with Haymon when the time comes. How awesome would a card of Klitschko-Wilder as main event and GGG vs Quillin as co feature be? I know that is wishful thinking.

I doubt Wilder has a contract with Showtime. It would be stupid no tto put his name on PBC.
