I don't see how Peter is going to land very many effective punches. Too big of a height and reach diffference. I expect it to look like the Danny Williams fight. Williams only landed 55 total punches in 8 rounds.

Keep in mind Vitali hasnt fought in years and returning from serious back injuries without a tune up.

The difference in skill level of these two will become very apparent, probably within the first two rounds, as Peter's beating commences, and he starts to swell and bleed.

I see him being dropped by round 5, and KOed or TKOed by round 7 to 8.

Vitali's height and lean back defensive style will see Peter winging wild looping haymakers that hit nothing, and only get him countered with a hard shot in return.

    Exactly.

We havent seen Vitali fight in years. I dont see how everyone can make such detailed predictions. The old Vitali was a beast who was never down as a pro and would school Peter and get a mid to late TKO over him without much problems. We have no idea what the Vitali of 2008 is going to look like.

Even as a Klitschko fan, i have to agree with this more cautious analysis.

Vit.klit used to my favorite fighter back when he had the wbc belt. If that klitschko would fight peter he would demolish him. But of course. He hasn't fought in years and not to mention he's getting older and not taking a tune-up for fear of injury.....i dunno man, i wouldn't want a champion that has all those things against him....but with that said....i can't stand peter and hope klit knocks him out of the heavyweight scene at least for a while :D

If he was on the roids, you'd think he wouldnt be injuring himself every two minutes, as roids aid quicker recoveries.

    You are an idiot

Every Klitschko thread has SeeMeBlow posting **** about the Klitschkos & steriods. Neither has tested positive for riods since turning pro. Unlike James Toney who's dumb enough to test positive twice.

Why the hell you must mention Toney every time. Toneys steroid use don’t make Vitalis steroid history to disappear.

Vitali failed a test for the olympics way back, so why wouldn't he cheat in the pro's, where it's virtually impossible to get caught if youre a big name? (Unless you're James Toney and Don King wants Ruiz to be champ)

But oh, Johnson doesn't have a chin, he did have talent but expressed none of it against Vitali, he just tried to land some awkward punches. Peter has a beard, hes quite seasoned and have experience leading up to this fight. (If this by some miracle happens, I don't know what to expect).

    Two possibilities:

    1. A Vitaly in nearly the shape of 2004 with no ringrust will demolish Peter
    2. A rigrusted Vitaly will have big problems with Peter...
