The sort of **** you expect with K2, but according to Atlas he pulled Povetkin out of the fight due to a lack of experience.

And people still don't get why there was no such thing as 50-50 as offered by the brothers.

The problem, hagman, is that none of us have seen the contracts. it's all just heresy from sources who have an agenda. Neither side can be trusted entirely, but I've more cause to trust Haye. I remember Borges wrote an article criticising K2 for always having a problem with something in a negotiation... it's not a new syndrome we're seeing.

Povetkin pulled out of the fight back in 2008 as well. It's because he cant win !

I suppose people use this "K2 slave contracts" thing to justify Haye not wanting to fight, but it's just an excuse. All promoters have harsh terms, but negotiations will make fights IF both fighters really want it.
I remember Monte Barrett had a long list of complaints when he came to fight Haye on Hayemaker promotion, BUT he still got in the ring and fought.

Anyway, Haye doesn't actually deserve 50-50, and anyone reasonable would agree with that. Wladimir Klitschko is considered the real champion and he's paid his dues.

    now what was the problem?
    Champ chooses grant gloves scandalous...
Wlad accepted expensive WADA tests because Sauerland asked for dispite they won the purse bid and so can dictate the terms, thats how it goes

Hes the ****ing champ, won the purse bid by a mile
and those ****s cry and say they wont let Wlad dictate the terms?:nut:rofl
who the hell do they think are?

    Sauerland is full of ****
    worst promoter ever
They make Haye, Valuev, Povetkin look like damn cowards by forcing them to duck the Klits. It would be their job to promote them. :patsch

Surely this goes against the rules of the IBF, can't Povetkin get him stripped?

He's only had four fights in three years :-(

I think most of the lads in the division are realising that Wlad is pretty much unbeatable right now - but surely have a go?

It's crying out for a Buster Douglas to train his arse off and become the fighter of his dreams for just one night..... yet all we are getting is fraud after fraud :patsch

If Klitschkos are so easy to defeat, then why hasn't Haye fought them? 50/50 is damned good. Haye broke two contracts with them. Where is Haye?

Povetkin has zero chance Vs. Vitali or Vlad. Haye has zero chance Vs. Vitali or Vlad and Haye knows it. Actions speak louder than words. Haye can't beat them with diarrhea of the mouth. Audley Harrison? Duh.........

I think I must have seen the same interview as you....he did say that he pulled Povetkin due to lack of experience but I wasn't altogether convinced. Povetkin didn't lose any experience between initially taking the fight and the first press conference...if Atlas was absolutely accurate in what he said why didn't he dismiss a fight out of hand rather than let it get to the negotiation and draft contract stage??

Where is CHEF when you need him for definitive clarification of contract terms :hey

The "long list" consisted of Monte bitching about being accomodated in some shitty 4* hotel and only getting 30 quid a day for food.
