10 times? hmmm.. a sport that stops and starts every 30 seconds or so.

that said soccer can be a little longwinded at times. 90 minutes with few breaks is long. I actually prefer free local grassroots soccer to stadium - stadium soccer feels so false these days, though their atmosphere is tremendous (ironic that people pay for an atmosphere that is created by the people who pay to get in).


granted its different - the breaks add to the suspense and give you time for chitchat if you have grown up with sports that allow those chat breaks.
