Lol, I was wondering then you were gonna pop up on this thread. I know everyone gives Thompson no chance, But he looks fit and motivated. Something tells me he's going to surprise people. This'll also be a chance for Wlad to show everyone how much better he's gotten in the past 4 years. I still think it'll be a boring fight though. But no doubt I'll be tuning in anyways.
Tony is one of the better boxers among the current list of Heavys and he's just about the same size as Wlad with a longer reach if I remember correctly. That being said I think Wladimir is still a better boxer & he has more power in either hand. As far as boring I thought the first fight was very competitive next to some of Wlad's one sided defenses. `
Agreed, Although I found the fight boring.. seemed very slow, dull, and way too much holding for my liking.. I'd love to see Thompson really press the fight - That's what will make it interesting. He says he will, but you you just never know!
As usual, Wladimir looks to be in great shape. I only wish though that he would fight as aggressively in his fights as he was doing during the sparring portions of the video. Emmanuel Steward always says that Wladimir has so much more potential than what he actually show when he fights. Not really looking forward to this match so much, but I bet it will provide another highlight reel KO.
