Lets just hope this fight doesn't happen. Wlad has had one of his least productive years in a long time in 2012, to see him start out 2013 on the same path would be sad.

    :patsch

Wlad fought his mandatory in the summer Thompson. And in November he will fight a guy who is taller.

Nothing wrong if Wlad said he wants to fight Huck. I would like Wlad to shut Huck´s big mouth and the mouth of his coach Wegner.

    Is there?

Povetkin maybe, but then again Huck pushed him real close.

Wlad doesn't need a hucking huck fight for hucks sake.......the guy talked **** and did well against Povs....so what!

Wlad has much bigger fish to fry in the division.......IF they take the fights though!

If none of them fools will sign or are 'ready'....huck it, knock Huck the huck out!

Wlad's 2012 has seen him face

1 Mormeck- 40 year old who hadn't fought in 15 months. I doubt anybody would have rated Mormeck in the top 30 and he was about a 40-1 underdog(and that was very, very, very generous).

2 Thompson- Another 40 year old who handn't fought in over a year. They fought once and Wlad proved he was superior and this was a fight no one was interested in. Mandatory or not, thats still his competition for the year.

3 Wach- Totally unproven fighter, his best wins are over Tye Fields and Jason Gavern. I don't think too many people would rate him as a top 15 heavyweight.

Thats Wlad's 2012 and now its possible he could be lining Huck up for 2013. C'mon, I'm a huge fan of Wlad but I'm not going to try to spin his competition since the Haye fight. Its been mediocre at best, I want to see the heavyweight champion face better competition than this.

Wlad had been on a good run from the first Peter fight until the Haye fight. He was knocking off a lot of good fighters in that span, he may have had the occasional drop in opposition(Austin, Rahman, and Brewster-the last two were pretty faded) but he never went on a run of three and possibly four straight fights with guys at this level.

Wlad's getting his glass jaw smashed by Wach anyway, so his plans are irrelevant.

Pretty sure Potvetkin is looking for the Feb/Mar date with Wlad.

He was all over the press when the WBA announced that he has until Dec 2012 to announce a scheduled fight with Wlad, and Potvekin said Wlad is NEXT after Rahman is outta the way.

So, this statement from Wlad is probably just a way to start under Sasha's skin before the coming negotiations. Maybe make it a bit easier to negotiate with the wba minor titlist.:think

As for a potential of a Huck fight, it seems Marco would have to wait until Wlad has an opening in his schedule or if he were to become the WBO mandate.
Wlad is fighting a voluntary next in Wach, then a mandatory in Potvetkin(Feb/Mar), then his IBF mandate(Pulev/Ustinov, Solis/Adamek) and by then the vacated WBC title may come into conversation for all we know, and that will include Mitchell or Arreola or some combination of them.:think:think

Who is left for Wlad, other than Huck? Povetkin won't fight him even if he is a mandatory.
