I like the activity part, I wish he would always fight three times/year.
I get that Wlad had an undeserving mandatory and had the rare case where a champion was avoided by challengers. You could write 2012 off as an underwhelming year for Wlad, largely due to things he couldn't totally control.

The problem is that he is now talking about Huck and I get that its simply a bit of talk and the fight could never happen. I just don't like the path Wlad is on and Huck( who is a poor challenge for Wlad) keeps Wlad on the path of consistantly facing mediocre challenges.

Wlad's next fight will probably be March or so of next year. By that time a number of guys, who probably would face Wlad, will be available. Even if guys like Povetkin, Fury, Mitchell, Arreola, etc decline and I'm not sure all of them would at that time I'd guess that someone like the Solis-Adamek winner(if they fight) or the Pulev-Ustinov winner would fight Wlad at that time.

A fight vs. Huck wouldn't work because of network issues in Germany. Huck is with ARD, Wlad with RTL. Fight won't happen, don't worry.

IMO Wlad - Povetkin is more likely for spring/summer 2013.

Povetkin isn't going to get near Wlad anytime soon. Even if he is the mandatory he'll still stay away.

If Wladimir can't get anyone else to sign then fight Huck, but I'd rather see him fight someone like Arreola.

But the RTL ARD thing you said would also apply to Wlad Povetkin too if it was really a problem.

Huck beat Povetkin so why not if Povetkin won't fight him.

I know wlad... he never talks about fights down the line when he is about to start camp and concentrate on the fighter in front of him... especially to the media

I dont buy this source at all

Huck's still bigger than most of Joe Louis's opponents.

I think this is true. They want to built up Huck´s name with Wlad´s. Sauerland ist very powerful promoter in germany and he has some press writers who write what he wants. You will not find much critics about the fight from Hernandez, this shows how Sauerland affect the press. No critics about it.

Sauerland realizes that they cannot say, Wlad does not want to fight Huck, people would not believe it. So they go the other way.
