The difference is Klitschko responded with class & respect to childish comments made by a fighter who has yet to achieve anything at HW.

Very good point. Ali's antics in the 60s and early 70s were not "good natured" acts. Later in his career, his Leon "the Vampire" Spinks and Earnie "the Acorn" Shavers were good natured ribbings. That earlier **** (Gorilla and Rabbit) he pulled damn sure wasn't.

Klit fans fail to realize that his last defense was the most pathetic, sickening display of boxing of the 21st century, thus it left him open to Haye's criticism. I don't mind the trash talk on either side, as long as the fight gets made and it gets settled in the ring.

Quite a bit of over-exaggeration. Also, it may have left him open to Haye's criticism... it if wasn't for the fact that in that fight, he dominated an undefeated Champion and unified titles. Also, we have a thing called video tape.. some people even have things on DVD. I think that Haye might want to take a look back at the rest of Wlad's career. You may need to as well. A fighter's worth isn't judged from one fight, ESPECIALLY when that one fight was a dominant decision over an undefeated Champion....unless the person doing the judging is a moron.

If Haye wants to talk **** about someone in that fight... why didn't he talk about Ibragimov? After all, it was Iggy who was getting his ears boxed off and still refused to make a fight of it. Wlad didn't have to change a thing, he was winning rather easily. It was Iggy who was losing badly and needed to take some risks. Wlad doesn't need to fight like a fool, just to try and knockout Ibragimov who was leaning so far down and back that Wlad would have to lay on him to get his shots off.

Watch how Iggy backs to the ropes, and lures his opponent in, trying too hard to land some shots...

Wlad isn't dumb enough to fall for that. Iggy tries to get bigger guys to lean down to his level and try to hard to force power shots in on him.

 

Sultan never spoke **** about Klitschko or questioned his manhood.

Quite honestly Sultan is one of the nicest guys in the sport & I'm glad Klitschko only beat him by lopsided decision.

 

Hayes comments were not pathetic and unneccesary, he had a valid point. there is no excitement in the heavyweight division and klitscho is 1 of the worst culprits for that. haye may get the odd loss on the way but he has more than enough ability to mix it with todays poor crop of heavyweights and bring excitement back. I cant believe how many people moan about the lack of characters and excitement in the division, then when you do get a different and more appealling character such as hayes he gets slagged off....hypocrits!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

James Toney, while a lovable rogue, is a purely ignorant, delusional, racist piece of **** with absolutely no grace, dignity or an ounce of respect. Not to mention severely lacking in charm, wit or intelligence. I still like the guy. But thats just what he is.

David Haye's shittalking was just to get himself noticed. He is largely unknown in the States, and wants a shot at Klitschko, in like, 18 months. He wont become a name and get that shot by being quiet. Sad, but true.

He was mostly having a go at Klit's poor performance vs Iggy. He said he was scared to throw a right hand. In all fairness, he was.
