Klitschko who fought Joshua vs current Wilder

Because of Fury’s shenanigans of faking injuries etc Wlad had been inactive for 17 months leading into the Joshua fight. That was a huge factor. Wlad would knock Wilder out at any point of their respective careers.

 

An old concentrated Klitschko able to stay away from Wilders right hand wins for KO in 5-7 rounds imo.

 

While there is always the KO factor that comes into play with Wilder, I think Wlad wins at least 8 out of 10 times and most often by KO.

He was no longer at his prime but in terms of technique there was a chasm.

 

Wlad all day. Of course Wilder could land that right, which is there every fight. But no, Wilder struggles with anyone with decent boxing skills. So if you put an elite fighter in there with him that can also wipe you out, that’s not going to end well for Wilder. Early KO/TKO.

 

Klitschko way too elite for Wilder. I don’t think much of Ortiz but he just didn’t have the engine/gas tank to beat Wilder, everything else was there.

 

Wlad's style is poison for a guy like Wilder. A heavy accurate jab and a tank shot of a right hand down the pipe, while at the same time creating space to nullify Wilder's telegraphed right hand? Not good.

 

If Wlad fought Ortiz everybody would be complaining about another bum defence.
