I keep wondering why so many people think Haye will win. You keep saying wladimir has no chin, what about Haye. He got knocked down by Barrett and barrett doesn't even hit that hard for a heavyweight. Did klitschko get knocked down by Barrett....no. Not to mention Haye doesn't have great footwork or defense. He keeps his left hand very low, and that's something you definitely don't want to do again a huge guy like Klitschko. So please explain why you think Haye will KO Wladimir?!

I agree with your points here. I dont think Haye will KO Wlad, nore do I think Wlad can survive more then a few good combinations from Haye. For the betting man this fight is a crap shoot. Haye is defintely the quickest, and most dangerous opponent Wlad has defended his titles against, however Wlad is still 6'6" 245 pounds and a damn good boxer who has a ton of confidence and experience. If Haye cant hurt Wlad early or score some knockdowns then Wlad will win this fight, but if theres anyone out there who can get in on Wlad and catch him with some bombs it is David Haye.

According to Steward this is the kind of fighter that he has said that he would think that would give Wlad trouble. I do think that Haye can knock Wlad out. Im not sure that Wlad could take many of Haye very fast hard shots, but I dont think that Haye can take ANY of Wlads.

Wlad wins my KO not TKO but KO 3

Yeah Wladimir has def been knocked down before, but that was a long time ago and his defense has gotten much better. Plus they were heavyweights that knocked him down, not cruiserweights. But yeah Haye does hit hard and can def pose a problem for Wlad. But if Wlad hits harder and has fought his whole pro career as heavyweight, which is why I think Haye will lose. He has no experience as heavyweight. Not gonna lie though Vitali is a beast who has never even tasted canvas so if Haye does beat Wlad he will get crushed by Vitali because it will be just like the Corrie Sanders incident where Vitali gets revenge and mops the floor with him. You have to admit Vitali is def a great "big brother" when it comes to revenge.

    Speed of hand and foot.
    Power.
    Heart.
Aggressive and can put combinations together.
Agility + reflexes, hard to hit clean.
    Technically sound.
    In shape & focused.

That's why I think he wins.

What exactly did he say, and when? i.e. was he speaking about Haye specifically or at some point he listed some attributes which Haye has and said that type of guy would give Wlad trouble?

As far as I've seen him quoted, Steward respects Wlad's upcoming opponents, lists some of their strengths they'll need to cope with, and then says Wlad will win.

So it wouldn't suprise me if Stewards says something like "We'll need a plan to deal with Haye's X,Y,Z"

e.g. when a Shannon Brigg's fight looked probable, Steward said something about him being very dangerous early, so the strategy would be to take him deep and tire him (and people interpreted that as meaning Brigg's was the type of guy that could give Wlad trouble) - depends on your point of view how you interpret it.
