not massively invested in either tbh...but you can tell from booth's reaction at certain points that boente is saying something booth hadn't heard before...maybe he's changed his tune regarding the german tv money...& booth's right: it should have been a simple answer but boente said a lot of numbers, span a few hypotheticals & did that politician thing of appearing to answer the question without actually providing a proper answer. what this makes clear is that this is nowhere near as simple as you guys are making out. imo anyway.

the most telling thing either of them said is that booth/haye will be taking one more fight to get out of the sauerland options; then the real negotiations will begin. haye's been running down his sauerland commitments...the k bros have been running down their guaranteed deal with rtl...once those are out of the way we'll get the fight. all this "making each other look bad" **** is them selling the fight...getting people talking. it's worked a treat too.
