People say wlad an vitali wouldn't have a chance against ali, well if you believe that,,,,then by some of his fans, including my self, i say that comes across as a person that does not like these two, an will not give them the credit they deserve,,,but i believe each person has the right to there own ideas.....:hi:
:good I agree completely. As a case in point, there is a thread floating about just now saying Vit is the hardest puncher in the history of boxing, because the WBC say so. And as far as talking about the hate that gets thrown their way, this week alone I've seen Klitschko fans say: "Haye is a homo", "Haye is on Steroids", "Unifying the Cruiserweights don't mean ****" and "Haye only moved to Heavyweight because he's avoiding Adamek". How can you not want to see the peddlers of such BS make arses of themselves?
Just the same with some Haye fanboys who are equally ridiculuos...Some even say that Haye is the next ali.....WOW!!! LOVE IT!!!nut:nut
yes they do. they are dominating the division. but...they are supposed to knock out the type of fighters that have been put in front of them. if, say for instance, the thompson or gomez fights had gone to the cards, there would be so much hate on this forum. their competition is not that stiff so they HAVE to knock these guys out. having said that they are doing it so...you have to say they are handling their business
Neither of them are pretty but they are effective. They are big guys so I don't think they will ever look pretty. Stamina and co-ordination isn't their strong point. These are the sort of qualities a small fighter should use to beat them.
Haye, if you like Wlad you don't care what his fans say, you like Wlad. You guys do the same thing by sh****** on the Klitschkos competition to discredit their dominance. Peter Ibragimov Austin Thompson Brock Williams Kirk Johnson etc - it's not like they'd all get knockd out in 30 seconds by Ali and Foreman and Holmes, they'd be somewhat competitive with any champ form history before eventually losing. When people try to say this era of contenders is average or bums it's total and complete BS.
If you are really honest, the shittalking was started from Haye and his fans first. I for myself can say that I respect Hayes achievments in the ring but totaly hate the shittalk. It might have been funny in the Ali era, but talk like Haye, Briggs, Toney... just annoys me...
Rahman and Brewster would have got knockd out but they quit on their stools. They quit to avoid getting KOed or brain damage but Wlad gets criticized, it's like the guy can't win. If he knocks em out in 30 seconds, they're bums.
Um, no they would not hang with any champion from historyatsch. And yes, this era of contenders is ****. And as much as I would like to see past the Klitschco's moronic fans I cant, its ridiculouys statements like yours just then that prevents it. I want to see them lose simply to rub it in the Klitite faces.
Bean, Donald, Peter has never been knocked out before. Vitali did it. Thompson has never been knocked out before. Wladimir did it. So their opposition was very strong.
If the overall standard of the division is weak in historical terms it means there is no-one to knock the mediocre contenders out. That none of them had been KOed before says more about the state of the division than the quality of the fighters you named.
No. It hasn't. Vitali has simply never beaten a very good fighter, not one. He has beaten a lot of bums, a few average fighters and one or two good ones. That's it. And remeber, both Gomez and Peter finished on their feet. The problem is that no one really knows how good/bad the Klitschko's are, because the have yet to defeat any very good/great fighters.
the same exact thing could be said about the guy in your avatar. And Peter finished the fight on his stool where he quit because he was going to get knocked out and he knew it.
ok, i don't dislike the brothers like some/many on here but come on...u know if wlad didnt knock thompson out with the way that fight was going he would have been criticized heavily for it, on here and elsewhere. thompson doesnt mean wlad has had strong competition. all im saying is that he should have knocked him out. thats not talking bad about wlad
