I was trying to make a list of the top boxers of all time in the heavyweight division. And no matter how much i try i cant put neither klitschko brother on the list. Can anyone convince me that they deserve to be top 20 on the heavyweight division.

Wlad deserves in the top 15.

Maybe Top 10 if he continue winning and retires as a Champion.

Wlad is at least top 15, I don't get how it's even a question, and I'm not even a fan.

    1. Re-arrange your list to put a greater emphasis on height. j/k

    2. Wait for Wlad's career to finish. If he goes on for a bit longer without losing, he has a very good case based on longevity.

that's the thing.. is it a weak era in the HW division or is it the talent of the klitschkos that keep them dominating.. i dont know.. but sometimes to be great you need that other great fighter to meassure yourself up.. to either bring the best out of you and to be able to show your greatness... but i dont see that fighter around right now

love it.. criticize but dont bring any input into a debate that no matter what will never reach unanimous conclusion anyways.. is all subjective.. at least tell me your list or where would you put him

Though it's kind of jacked up, that's true for the most part. Still, the Klitschkos have simply shown up and taken care of business. And though it may not always be pretty, they get the job done. They are in it for the "W"'s. The Klitschkos should not be faulted for their lack of great rivals. Their losses have proven to be flukes. Their wins are always by a landslide. The degree of domination by the Klitschkos should not be attributed to the heavyweight division being terrible, but rather to their skills, ring smarts, and athleticism.

If the same Ali from the 60's and 70's was fighting today, and say the Klitschkos fought back then, who would be Ali's modern day Frazier? Who would force Ali to show the greatness that he showed decades ago? The Klitschkos are the ones fighting today, so they are the ones stuck with the burden of proving their greatness amongst competitors that don't even come close. Many folks place unrealistic expectations on the Klitschko brothers, like knocking out Chambers and Johnson early if they're so good. They're damned if they do and damned if they don't.
