When people took Lewis' name in their mouth regarding HW ATG in 1998/1999 they were not only laughed at. They were not even taken seriously. Lewis was a non-topic. He was hated and despised.

Let a fighter retire. Let approx. 5 years pass. Then pass judgment on their career and their historic accomplishments.

i dont think this is the case, this era of heavyweights is horrible the worst in boxing history in any divsion. How can you reward them for that? When the comp was just a little tougher they wernt dominant,as a matter of fact Wlad was getting ko'd by guys that would be considered bums in any era Vitali could'nt beat a over the hill Lewis when McCain and Rakman ko'd a prime Lewis and i question Lewis's greatness as well and neither are those fighter are considered better than the Klitchko's,its like a shark in the tank with goldfish 1 eats **** and the other eats the fish that eats the ****, how does that equal greatness?

You sure show your vast knowledge of boxing when Mckain:blood Ko'd Lewis was that in Arizona when mckain was running for president? Maybe your **** analogy applies to your nostalgia for old fighters.. also who in the bum of the month club would really stand a chance against either klitschko or Lewis..

Every one of those was avenged by one brother or the other (Lennox Lewis, who retired A.S.A.P. following the fight with Vitali, being the exception. Smart move on his behalf. He knew damn good and well how the rematch would have gone...that's right, avenged!). Like I said earlier in the thread, all proven fluke losses.

P.S.- Mike Tyson is NOT the number 3 heavyweight of all time. You seem smarter than that, so this is a bit disappointing. You should reconsider.

Christo is one of the worst observers of boxing I've ever encountered, as well as one of the biggest jackasses, possibly the biggest, on ESB. I am almost 100% guaranteed to nail predictions dead on when going with the complete opposite of what he says. And he is a major hypocrite and had no business accusing someone ELSE of being bias (him being a racist and all), right or not. However, he DOES appear to have dislodged his head from his ass in this particular thread.

They are indivual fighters. just b/c they're brothers doesn't mean they can avenge each other's loses. This is not a team sport.

Hell, if Vitali's brain wasn't trying to crawl out of his face, Lewis would have surely been on his way to a canvas nap. Probably within the next two rounds. But, I do believe Vitali was training for a fight himself on that same card, or possibly on the same night....something like that.

I can't tell if I agree or disagree. Can you clarify that statement a bit?

Now THAT is EASY to agree with. It is not even debatable. No ****ing way!
