They're absolutely right, he needs to bark, sit, roll over, and give them his paw to get a rematch, and he's just not. Haye is left out in the cold and both of them are giving him a chance here. Wladimir has said he doesn't see Haye's desire, which I also agree. Vitali says he'll give him it anyway, and Haye doesn't want to fight him.

Haye has already said when asked point blank if the fight was hypothetically set for November he would take it because he likes a challenge and wants to avenge this, but if he lets this opportunity to get back in when it's a gridlocked heavyweight division go because of a October retirement? He's an absolute idiot. He's trying to win the Klitschko lottery without a ticket, Vitali is his ticket. He can accept that fight and add on just one year and he can get the opportunity to regain a belt on his way into a Wlad fight. It's ******ed to think he's gonna fight Wlad for his 4 belts whilst carrying nothing, Vitali is his gateway back and he's just not interested. "I want Wladimir", well if you're not prepared to get in the longline, and you're not even prepared to get in the one way express? You've got no chance.

This is frustrating as hell for every single person who can see the window of opportunity. There's four roads. One is retirement, one is the long road, one is the shortcut, and one is the wishful path that leads nowhere because he's not gonna just gain that opportunity by holding the Klitschko's to an October retirement ransom when they've already beaten him and he's lost his belt and his ground. Foolish behaviour.

He doesn't have to do anything, he can just retire.

Then he has no legacy whatsoever, he's a ghost. He doesn't have cruiserweight wins that define him over Holyfield or even Adamek, and he has no Heavyweight victories that will be worth mentioning. You're right, he doesn't have to do anything, but this is a hell of an opportunity to throw away because of a birthday.

Holyfield was always a tough act to follow but FFS dont throw names like Adamek around as though they mean something. Haye would have starched the Pole at Cruiser and would also starch him at Heavyweight.

I don't doubt it, mate. I really don't, my point is Adamek has the better CW resume than Haye does. Sure, he lost to Dawson, but those Banks/Cunningham victories are quite valuable. I just think Haye doesn't make you shout out "greatest cruiserweight for that time" when his best wins are Mormeck and Macca.

Obviously, it was just an example. He doesn't excel in the CW division enough for him to leave a legacy in that division. He didn't even truly unify.

You mean he'd go back on his retirement promise to himself, that he made way back when he was a but a little English boy, knee-high to a grasshopper?

I see both fights as world title fights. I see both fights as big money fights. Haye will make big money in either fight. Granted, not what he did a week ago, but bigger money than he'll get doing is post fight career, acting.........LOL

The fact that Haye wants no part of Vitali (he has no beef with him LOL) tells me that he knows he has ziltch of a chance against Vitali but thinks he can nail Wlad again, and throw caution to the wind this time and followup and try to take Wlad out......but that will get Haye KOed, I would venture to say.

What did he have to gain fighting an old Cunningham when the Heavyweight division was calling him?

Mormeck was a great win for Haye and a better win than any by Adamek in the cruisers.

Not disputing the Mormeck win (though I don't think it towers over Adamek's) but it doesn't make him a standout Cruiserweight. And to be honest, Cruiserweight is not a division where you make a name anyway, it's wafer thin. Dawson and Adamek were the best names there. He didn't have anything to gain, it's like saying why didn't Mosley fight Mayweather way back when, why would he? There was big paydays. It just means his resume isn't that strong. He goes out with a no-name.

Cunningham, Bell, Banks >>>>> Mormeck, Maccarineli, Fragomeni

Old Cunningham . Mormeck was old and nearly shot . O'Neil Bell was a better fighter than Mormeck as he proved in their 2 fights. Cunningham is better than 36-year old Mormeck as well.

Haye's H2H ability at cruiser is vastly overestimated, as is his power.

There is no need for the klits to face him now, he needs a few good wins either that or retire. haye is done.

i think vitali would have no problem fighting him after adamek but wlad is enjoying the moment and rightfully making him earn it
