Haye is only a couple of fights away from a rematch or even 1 fight away from Vitali. He would beat any 1 in the top 10. So it's down to Haye him self. If he really wants it. He will go for it. If he doesn't then he will go and use this idiotic retirement date and hide behind that. IMO he owes it to the fans (who have supported him home and abroad) to go out and have another run at it. But does he care about his fans? Only time will tell.
Doesnt look like haye wants to take the tough road and rebuild with a fight or two against solid contenders plus it also seems he has no interest in big klit either, well, mr haye, its tough for you then, maybe you should just retire, you failed in your bid and an immediate rematch may not even generate close to the cash you think it will, most people wont be fooled into buying a ppv event twice like that david
The only reason to put Haye in with a Klitschko again would be to see if he would get knocked out cold this time. He has lost all legitimacy as a challenger and there is no real reason to clamour for another fight. If Haye wants to keep going, let him fight any two of Arreola/Povetkin/Chambers/Chagaev. Then, if he wins and does well, there might be a point to a rematch.
Astonishing that Adamek gets a pass for beating a washed up sh*t Kevin McBride yet Haye still gets his resume pulled and questioned.
Yeah when he said that he has no beef with Vitali I laughed. He's always been afraid to fight Vitali. I still hope that he fights Vitali b/c it would be nice to see Vitali KO Haye for his last fight before retiring. I def see Vitali beating Adamek b/c Adamek doesn't have enough power to get any respect from Vitali....
No, Haye brings the money, Haye actual still makes the fight. The belt is PR, the money is 90% of the reason for fights.
Vitali is angry cause Wlad won but he didn't inflict any real damage and Haye had excuses and didn't take much punishment, i think old Quitali wants to settle it via KO, unfortunatly its him who will be KO'd.
Adamek only has one quality win (against Arreola), but the reason he gets less crap is that he's been busy (6 fights at HW in less than 2 years), been taking on the biggest guys he could find in preparation for the K-bros and hasn't been running his mouth about how he awesome he is. It's surreal that he's ranked the no 3 HW based on that, but there is very little substance in those rankings beyond the top 2. In a better era he should maybe just be cracking the top 10. The guys below the Klitschkos should really have a kind of round robin to settle that stuff, but all they care about is positioning themselves for the title shot and cashing in.
The only way Haye beats Vitali is by marathon. And I mean an actual 42 kilometer thing. Maybe he should challenge Vitali to that. He'll have to hope he doesn't break his toe doing stretches and gets KO'ed on the starting line.
I`d love to see Haye KO a Klitschko but he has no chance of knocking out Vitali. Wlad was his best chance and he blew it.
And you better ****ing believe Vitali coming out from left field. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4CobVNTwL0[/ame]
