I will got with Arreola. He is a name HBO will buy plus he has put together a nice winning streak. Also Wlad probably sees his as no real threat.
All true, but Arreola has a free shot at the WBC title when Vitali vacates it next September. Arreola wants no part of Wlad, nor does anyone else looking to extend their careers into the post Vitali(WBC) reign. Just like Potvetkin keeping that fake strap as long as he can, the Arreolas and Fury's and Mitchell's will fight over that fake strap as long as they can keep Wlad from grabbing it.:-(
I know Mitchell see's himself about 4 fights away from any sort of title shot. Who do you think he will face then? Maybe Wach
I voted Solis as Boente has sent Oner papers. Also, Solis is highly rated by all the orgs, he's undefeated except due to injury, and he's fought arguably top 5 LOC on his way up the rankings. As for Mitchell.....3-4 fights, yeah. He'll be fighting for a title. Just not any of the 4 that Wladimir is wearing. If it aint Solis, then it's gotta be Wach. Pulev is in the tournament, unofficially vs Ustinov. Mitchell and Banks is all but done. Adamek is fighting Walker in the tournament. Arreola has continuously turned down the fight, even at MSG on HBO. KJ just lost to Hamer in a fight he should have easily won. Helenius is injured. Fury wouldnt be ready. :think It's gotta be Solis or Wach IMO.:think
IF it was my choice I'd pick either Povetkin or Arreola. But since it ain't, Will prob be One of those dudes that names ends in a "V".
Walker vs. Adamek is a part of that tournament ****ing disgrace. Wach is promoted by CES who will sell their fighters 0 for some overseas money with no problem. Solis is now co-promoted by Main Events so it is a possibilty. I wish Solis would have another tune up first. He needs at least a Peter to shake the rust off. Even though Chisora hands down beat him I wouldn't mind Helenius getting the shot off size alone. I think your right Wach or Solis.
I'd like to see Solis get that tuneup as well. And yeah, Adamek vs Walker is not the greatest semi for a title shot, but if either is able to beat the Pulev vs Ustinov winner....well, that would give Walker, Meehan KO, Adamek W, Pulev/Usitnov W. Actually, a solid contender resume if I saw one. And for Adamek, Aguilera W, Chambers W, Walker W, Ustinov Pulev W. Yeah, very shot worthy IMO. Im still holding out hope that Solis gets that Pulev fight and maybe he'll come out of the tournament looking like the future champ he once did. Arreola should **** or get off the pot already. And Suleiman is dressing that title for him already by refusing unification fights. Basically, he's already protecting Arreola from Wlad. SMH:-( In the words of BE.......**** SULEIMAN:fire
I think I read somewhere(the scene) in an article from today that Boente said Wlad's next fight will be in Europe again. Even though earlier this year it was released that Wladimir desired to fight in the states vs. Arreola or Mitchell.. The decision was based on their contract with RTL and the time differences, and less revenue. So cross those 2 off the list. Povetkin has a mandy, and will have to be hypnotized in order to get into the ring with Wlad. Fury has expressed his intent to wait for a mandatory so he makes a bigger purse. Boystov is being brushed aside by K2 because of his frequent hand injuries. Cunningham just moved up and is coming off 2 loses, plus another cruiserweight is definitely not what their looking for. That narrows it down to Pulev, Solis, Wach.. I don't see it being Solis since he has been inactive for quite a while recovering from his knee injury.. So were left with Wach and Pulev. I'd prefer Pulev, do to his recent win over Dimi, and think it would be a more competitive fight, but my gut says Wach, based solely on his size. And with Wach's lack of speed, he gets blown out very early.
