Haye isn't going to fight Vitali, who he apparently has no beef with. Plus he knows he's scared of him and would be pummeled silly if they ever got in the same ring.

He wants Wlad, or its retirement.

Which means Haye is retired as he knows he'll not get an immediate rematch.

    Hear him *****:

"Well, I've had to retire. I was given no choice as Wlad didn't want to give me an immediate rematch. He KNOWS he would get DESTROYED when he gets HIT with one of my trademarked AWESOME HAYEMAKERS. He KNOWS this and it would have happened if we fought with me being 150% fit and healthy. DESTROYED."

    Haye: The Excusemaker

    Humiliated
    Humbled
    Retired

That is sad but true, Haye knows how to promote a fight and did a fantastic job for making money for Wlad. If it wasn't for Haye's antics, there is no way the fight would have generates so much money and the Klitchkos know it. Thats why they are smiling and rubbing there hands of another fight with him.

Vitali also said Wlad is better than him. They compliment each other. But we both know which one fights credible opponents and which one cherrypicks old fat bums.

then surly you wouldnt want to see this injustice...haye was made to look like he just took off his vest and headgear 3 weeks before he fought wlad..how can that earn him another shot??just because he wasnt kod..he want kod because he ran and when he actually fought he ate 1-2s constantly people keep mentioning about haye stunnin wlad in the 12th..haye was the one stunned when he walked into a short right hand that stopped him on his tracks..the 12th round is enough for me to assure thst if haye had of came at wlad earlier he would have been kod...wlad needs to clean out the rest now to secure his leagcy not fight some arsehole to earn another huge paycheck

I agree with you, Haye hasnt earned it and somehow managed to fast track himself to the top, avoiding so many HWs. Unfortunately, Wlad is so far ahead of everyone else that fighting other HWs will generate little interest. At least with Haye he is able to sell a fight, how will Chisora or Fury?

After beating Haye, Wlads legacy is pretty much secure. He has little else to prove and after a few more defences can retire as a ATG.

In reality it does earn him another shot because money is first and foremost the most important factor in Wlad's decision making at this point of his career. There are no better opponents, no career defining fights for Wlad, so I guess he thinks he might as well get paid well. I don't like it, hell I'm sure he doesn't like it but his options are practically non existent.

The commentators screamed there heads off when Haye landed in the 12th with that right hand because it was the first decent punch he had landed all night and Wlad wasn't even hurt in my opinion.

1st of all how are they going to hype the fight??is haye going to go the humble route and play the huge underdog??wont work casual fans wont buy it...can he do what he done??nope fans wont buy it..people are over estimating how much a rematch will make..chisora does a gd job on fury plus with his loud crude mouth which is worse than haye how can thy not hype the fight up esp with the fact if chisora takes out the taller fury in style...then we all know how hbo like to hype the **** out of areolla..then if povotkin beats chagaev combined with the fact hes an olympic gold medalist and has beating alot of the same guys wlad has turns wlad vs povotkin a superfight..and then youve got the case of haye actually earning it which would generate some intrest..i think people are going to put 2 and 2 together..theres a reason haye wont go near a top 10 guy and now everyone knows y

Just thought I would highlight what he said as Wlad fans like to assume he is the best because Vitali says he won't fight his brother while ignoring the fact it's mutual just like their statements about who would beat the other.

Vitali cherrypicks nobody, does Adamek count as an old fat bum? Neither brother cherry picks, how can you in such a terrible division when the biggest threat is Haye there are no good fighters at heavyweight but the Klits.

They will overhype that right that landed on Wlad during the 12 round. I think Haye hit him a few times during the fight too, and they will overhype all that crap too. Trust me, people love taken in by hype and bluster. There are not many true boxing fans out there....:(

I agree that a rematch is going to be near impossible to sell to the UK crowd, we support our fighters but we are not blinded by reality. Any rematch will make significantly less than the first match but it will still generate more money than any other opponent woul,d even with limited UK interest.

Name another heavyweight who is a big draw, because there isn't one. The UK market is very lucrative along with US market and even the top US fighter, Arreola is not getting his fights televised by the major networks recently.

Why aesthetics do not make a great heavyweight in this current division of obese fighters and blown up cruisers it's one of the few things that separates the contenders because there is no other way to distinguish them as they never fight each other.

If Povetkin beats Chagaev then yes he will become the top contender simply due to the fact he will be the one fighter outside of Adamek and Haye that has actually beaten anyone that is regarded as half decent or a contender.

But will he generate as much money as Haye? No he won't, the financial reality is a Haye fight while less meaningful would generate more money which is why Wlad will always look to another Haye fight, even if Haye retires you might see Wlad goading Haye to come out of retirement at some later stage to fight him because such easy money is too hard to pass up.

Even if Haye decided to retire, i can see Wlad teasing him out to fight him, which will drum up interest for the fight. It seems very likely. In this way Haye can avoid fighting another HW and come out for another high paying rematch with Wlad. Maybe Wlad will do a Haye and hype up the fight? Genius!

i respectfully disagree with you bro...povotkin would be a superfight and would make a killing maybe wouldnt be hyped that much in the uk..but the uk isnt the be all and end all..chisora would be easy to sell aswell esp if he takes care of the taller fury in style and dosnt struggle with him..esp with his ability to talk aswell..a haye fight is just a disgrace.if vitali wants to ko him then fell free but if wlad gives him a rematch then i just think its a disgrace..id rather see him clear out the division than waste his time on a guy who dosnt want to fight top 10 guys...

again i think your overhyping the gulability of us brits..over hype a few punches??anyone who would fall for that would need to be put in a padded cell...and wlad acting the villin would only lead to one place..he being defeated and completly losing his legacy..this isnt a panto bro..some people are dickheads some arnt.wlad aint one
