He weighed in at 225 for his last fight, despite being 6'4".
He is in excellent shape. Here he is after that fight:

Cool another boxer with a long string lower tier boxers on their record, saying they are feared and avoided by the best out there.

    Interesting match-up.
Boytsov goes all out for the KO early on, but he becomes frustrated by his inability to KO Scott, and Scott outboxes Boytsov to a UD win by a 3-4 round margin.

Looks like OG Loc, what a G. :smoke

But, why was Malik Scott totally inactive for 4 years from '08 to 2012? :huh

Has Scott even fought a 10 or 12 rounder yet?

He should probably take it easy for the next 4 or 5 years and fight some lower tier journeymen.

I don't know much about him, is he still active? If so then heck yeah give him a shot. Looks to be in decent shape and has probably bulked up, in that vid he was only 21.

He had injuries and personal problems, also a number of fighters ducked him such as Raphael Zumbano who was 31-4-1 at the time.

He is young in ring years, the worst thing that can happen to a fighter is when they are rushed into fighting tough competition too soon.
Look what happened to Adamek when he rushed into the fight with Vitlay, he had at least 3 more years of fighting low to mid level journeymen before taking a fight with a top 20 guy.

He has to do what everyone else does to get a shot, beat some other boxers in the top 10. He hasn't had a fight with anyone in the top 25 yet. Start talking title shot after that. There are quite a few decent HWs that would earn him notice if he fought and beat them. Say Cedric Boswell, Malik Scott, Chauncy Welliver, Micheal Grant, Chazz Witherspoon, or Seth Mitchell. The problem with that is all these boxers are ranked higher then Malik Scott, so from their point of view it might not make any sense to fight Malik. He needs to start fighting some top 50's first and keep really active to get noticed first.

It could if he truns out to be the real deal. And they don't fight him. I dont know enough about scott to make a judgement. Someone give me a quick briefing of Malik Scott as a fighter.

  15. Both also lost to Tye Fields FFS:deal...!!! Malik Scott is a *****!!! Team Kingpin offered him $25,000 to fight in Atlanta in June of 2011; he declined.

Malik is a bum, always will be. he couldn't last 3 rounds with either Klitchko brothers.

In ten years he MAY fight a live body, but he needs to stick to the Midwest circuit and beat up nobodies.
