You have a semi valid point. While Scott may not boast the greatest resume, he is undefeated, and an undefeated fighter don't know how to lose yet.
It's highly likely that he would, or Chapman/Rodriguez would give the K2 a better fight than Thomspon or Dimitrenko would.:-(

But it's all about climbing the ladder. Yeah, Rodriguez is avoided like the plague. And Malik is back, but as of yet has not publicly called out a top 50. Chapman however had several opportunities at bigger fights, and chose to keep quiet.

 

Rodriguez has tried to get Boystov 3-4 times. Same with Arreola. MOF, GBP was trying to put a 21/22-0 Boystov vs a 29/30 Rodriguez on a big fight UC a couple years back. That was before Denis began his hand troubles.

Boystov ducked the fight and chose instead to fight at home against a Eurocan.

 

Besides the fact that you said he needed to fight himself to get a shot or noticed......I clue ya in on something.
