After "pulling a muscle in his back" 2 weeks ago today this was Wladamir Klitscko yesterday http://www.palmbeachpost.com/sports...g-ukrainian-heavyweight-wladimir-1140875.html
Yeah saw this on the GF earlier today, we all knew it was bollocks anyways....it looks like Haye and Booth forced his hand back into negotiations and told him not to risk it against Chisora.
Like I posted in the other thread in the General, everybody already knew and nobody really cares. It's hypocritical of him after some of the **** he gave Haye over his fake injury, but then again there's a difference between pulling out of a Chisora fight to fight Haye, and pulling out of a Wlad fight to go on and fight Valuev.
I think what chisora said my be true. wlad didnt take him seriously, only trained for 3 weeks. manny steward watch chisora realised he was better than he thought and so they dropped the fight.
Yeah he was scared of Chisora. Now I like Chisora but taking 9 to get Sam Sexton outhere Really? Come on now stop it
Yeah i kinda agree, Remember Haye really rates Chisora even though now he won't admit it. He said he was like an 80's fighter and i think they looked and thought **** it don't risk this fight and got to Klit's and said let's talk now!!! The Klits are safety first in everything they do...
I see Rob is officially on Team Haye now... Did Booth get in touch and offer you a free t-shirt in the colour of your choice, as long as you laid off the champ?
Wouldn't say he feared him but i think Haye obviously went behind Chisora's back in lead up to the bout and said don't fight him. I think Wlad may have been panicked by fact Haye keeps banging on about retiring next year.
Can't see that a man scared to fight Chisora would pull out to fight David Haye... If the injury was faked the only reason I can think of is to deny Chisora a payday. Chisora showed what kind of a man he was in the build up, Wlad's a gent whatever you think of his style and he wouldn't want to see Chisora earn five pence nevermind 50k or whatever it was going to be.
I'm sure you guys are all right and he did pull out for whatever reason but... It is not unreasonable that he pulled a muscle, recovered and played golf two weeks later. A pulled muscle need not take long to heel and who's to say that he felt totally better playing there - it's not like it was competitive and he needed to be at the top of his game. And a pulled muscle does not have to have been serious to disrupt a top athlete at such a vital stage. If Wlad had any doubts, he would not risk it. Surely, the slightest twinge could cause chaos to his preparations and seriously hinder him, both psychically and mentally.
