Was just browsing through boxrec. I noted that they had listed wlad klitschko having 50 knockouts, previously they had it as 51. Why did they change it? Everywhere else it is still 51.
I believe it all goes back to what was listed as a fifth round stoppage of Biko Botowamungu being changed to a DQ. It was a strange ending. It's a bit like Arreola really probably should've had a stoppage win over Witherspoon and Tyson had an official DQ win over Ferguson that got changed to a stoppage and not coincidentally protected his media-friendly kayo streak. I actually do not know if it was just listed wrong all these years or they went back on it for some reason or if it's a mistake. I watched the ending over again and I still don't know. But these bits happen sometimes.
I was similarly handicapped. I should probably know German with all the youtubed fights from Germany I've seen, but I should probably know Spanish broadcast fights I've youtubed. ...I should probably know Japanese too. ...It's actually shocking I don't speak several languages. How many thousand hours does it take?!
Little children can learn these languages, so it shouldn't be too hard I guess :think It's hard to know for sure from this vid. The German commentator says; "Hat er ihm disqualifiziert?" (did he disqualify him?). And when the verdict is called some Russian bloke is talking trough it (in Russian no less! :verysad) so it's really hard to make out.
Man young Wlad was such a beast. In retrospect - a whole lot easier to beat compared to now, but man did he **** people up
