Anyone have them? Vitali must have set a record for power shots landed that fight. Damn Briggs is tough cant believe he made it past 7. Props to both fighters

ESPN3 showed them....I can't remember, but I think it was something like 150 power shots landed. 300+ total shots landed.

Briggs threw 12 punches and landed 3, one each in rounds 5, 7 and 11, all power punches.

LOL...actually I think they had Briggs throwing 300 something, and Vital throwing 700 something.

It seemed like Vitali landed 1000 punches to Briggs 10

Briggs was very gracious in defeat. He said Vitali was just too fast with his hands and movement, also said that Vitali was better than Lewis, and hit harder than Foreman.

    Serious?

I don't think there was a single round where Briggs threw more than 10 punches. Vitali never stopped though 700 sounds about right.

I think power punches were 150 or so, to 35 or so.

That's good! He say anything like retiring or what next for him?
What did Vitali have to say about the fight and his future?

Here's the stats. Briggs didn't throw a single punch. Vitali probably 80 per round.

Shannon didn't go much into his future, but I guess he will box on for a while.
Vitali said he hurt his hands trying to knock Briggs out.

    Briggs didn't mention the future.

Vitali didn't speak in English, so I only understood a few words of what he said...not enough for me to tell.

I'm pretty sure I am remembering those correctly. 300 something for Briggs, 700 something for Vitali.

I think the compubox guy who scored for Briggs may have Parkinson's disease. :bart
