Remember when Vitali Klitschko quit against CHRIS BYRD?

And yes, several times he was scheduled to face Hasim Rahman, several times he pulls out. I doubt this was on purpose, but you would think he would be able to dominate Rahman. But his injuries prevented this. And his injurise are preventing him from fighting Sam Peter right now. :bbb

Five years ago, Vitali would KO his bro. Now, it's impossible to NOT pick Wlad. If were talking a real fight and not a glorified sparring session, Wlad leaves his brother a bloody mess like Lennox Lewis did. Even if it was a friendly match, Wlad still outboxes brittle-boned Vitali to a comfortable points win.

Vitali backed out of 4 scheduled fights with Rahman, breaking a 44 year WBC belt record, most pull outs without eventually fighting the oppenent. I would also like to point out, Vitali's last pull out came in December of 05, just two weeks after being floored in sparring against Travis Walker, on the way down he messed up his knee I believe.

Vitali is a monster in the ring, outside of it, he's a fragile teddy bear. Vitali has the perfect style to beat Wlad, great chin, heavy punch, and pretty aggressive as well, and unlike his brother (as of late), he possess a good killer instinct. Wlad does not know how to handle adversity at all, his defense is to panic, clinch, and fall to canvas numerous times. Vitali even now, I would have to favor over his mentally weaker little brother.

    I agree.:good

But it is frusterating acknowledging that, even now, Vitali SHOULD be the best Heavyweight in the world. He was the last HEAVYWEIGHT WORLD CHAMPION. But since he retired and failed at trying to come back, the championship has remained vacant.

That is true, though some may claim Wlad is the real champion, after his last performance I'm going to have to disagree. Vitali was not only tough as nails in the ring, but his exciting matches brought alot of boxing fans back to the Heavyweight division.

Best Vitali we've seen so far (probably the Vitali-Lewis version) versus the best Wlad we've seen so far (probably the Wlad-Byrd 2), Vitali wins by KO.

(And it's brutal and ugly !)

Without a timeframe its hard to answer this..so i'll just say, in my opinion:

    Now - Wlad
    Then - Vitaly

    :-((

No we all win. Especially if it was a unification back in the day.

This is a math problem. Mathematically, either Klitshko wins, or there is a draw.

Wladimir will win by TKO. He will fight lewislike and take Vitali away by cuts.

Wladimir is underrated and Vitali to much overrated.

That fight is moot. Vitali Vs. Vlad will never happen.
