Haye, Povetkin, Adamek, Boytsov...those are contenders they haven't fought yet, and none of them are C fighters. On the way up behind them there's fast rising prospects like Solis, Helenius, and Pulev. Trying to climb their way back from getting dominated are others like Peter, Chambers, Arreola, Thompson, etc.

I really don't get why people keep assuming the heavyweights are so bad other than to discredit the Klitschko's. There's a good number of people that desperately want to see the brothers defeated so the only thing left to do once the latest hope gets dominated is to talk about how shitty the challenger and the entire division is.

I have to wonder why all these threads knocking the Klits on account of their division come up while none happen to say the same thing about Chad Dawson and the light heavyweight division, which is clearly worse than heavyweight right now. So is Cruiserweight, but people like to hype that division up just out of backlash towards Heavyweight. Apparently it's easier to keep doing that than to admit right now Wlad is one of the 3 most dominant fighters in the sport because he's that much better than a group of heavyweights that isn't nearly as weak as people like to ***** about.

Klitschko's arnt B-Level now due to their dominating nature of a fairly laclustre division but if they were in prime Tyson/Ali/Lewis (either of them) era's they would be

They may not be ATGs, but would give every ATG fighter a hard fight or even win. They're definitely A level not B.

There are a lot of HW fighters in the top 20 who are not much to get excited about for sure. The problem is that the three heavyweights who are really A level contenders are doubted for different reasons, Haye for being an ex cruiser with a suspect chin and Povetkin/Solis for being inexperienced at heavyweight. Otherwise, they all have really impressive CVs, with Haye being the WBA champ and an ex undisputed CW champ. Solis and Povetkin have tremendous amateur records, even ATG ones and Povetkin was very impressive in moving up the rankings at HW as fast as he did.

Now Wlad has already defeated two undefeated HW champions in Ibragimov and Chagaev, reducing them to a the far less impressive contender status. Povetkin at this stage would need to beat more good fighters to be considered much of a credible threat to Wlad - even more so with Solis. But if Haye can KO Ruiz, I think Haye vs Wlad could make a pretty big fight.

Now Vitali on the other hand is getting old. Although his win over Peter was pretty good (though Peter was always limited) and his win over Gomez was solid, the problem is he recently he has just fought two fighters who hadn´t really beaten anyone of note, making him look like he´s hand picking tomato cans.
