Had 4 tears in meniscus repaired in Nov. Can walk just about normal again without pain. Started training beginning last week. Find all the normal boxing training painful like going into the stance, shadow boxing movement, heavy bag and double end bag workouts, running etc. Don't want to rotate on my with my left knee on which the procedure was done. Nothing serious but don't want to force things until after my next follow up appointment with orthopedic surgeon.
QUESTION: What can I do to regain my cardio fitness again? Not a gym member so swimming not so good - my pool at home only about 12m across.
    Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Just swim back and forth a sh*t ton of times at your pool LOL. 12 meters is still a solid distance. Can't think of any other cardio that doesn't strain your legs other than swimming. Biking is also pretty good.

Agreed. How about Battle Ropes? Or a TRX for lifting?

Keep an eye on your diet, too.
