] Lamotta took flush punches off Bob Satterfield without going down. Satterfield knocked out Top 10 rated 6'3 215lb Nino Valdez, 6'2 225lb Bob Baker, 6'3 205lb John Holman, and 6'3 202lb Cleveland Williams.
Taking a punch from Sattersfield and taking a sustained beatin over 10 rounds from a 210lb heavyweight are two very different things.
If we are talking middleweight only and knock out v.s. stopage based on exhaustion/cuts, the list is small but it is always possible ... Lightheavy is a far different animal as many may have done it such as Moore, Foster, Saad and several others ... Heavyweights are a whole other story ..
Jeffries was not an ATG puncher. he used his size and strength to wear down his smaller foes. Choynski had a glass jaw and outweighed by 60lb, and he went 20 rounds with Jeff. Sharkey who was blasted away twice by Ruhlin and gave up 32lb to Jeff, went 50 rounds with Jeff....Fitz outweighed by over 30lb went over 10 rounds with Jeff, and Corbett outweighed by 30lb went 23 rounds with Jeff. The point was Jake Lamotta took punches off of Bob Satterfield...I used evidence to point out Bob Satterfield HIT AS HARD as ANY 210lb heavyweight....Judging from film and his devastating knockouts over BIG rated heavyweights
I'm not disputing ANY of this and nothing that you have said is in contradiction to what I have said. To recap - Taking one punch from Sattersfield and taking a sustained beating from Jeffries are different matters. Comparing them isn't really relevant here.
