Knockout CP Freshmart Vs Carlos Buitrago

Doing the pageantry that comes with Thai fights at the moment...damn these guys make the Germans look swift...

 

Easy round for Buttrago who jabbed and circled well, nice start by the Nicaraguan kid. The crowd cheered EVERYTIME Knockout landed ANYTHING. Funny crowd.

Much better round for Knockout who landed some SOLID right hands up top. Buitrago took them well but it was a round that the Thai won with eye catching work

 

Buitrago wins round 3 on work rate but he is doing A LOT, knockout is still landing the heavier shots and is being conservative .Buitrago probably knows he needs to win rounds bit. 29-28 Buitrago.

 

round 4 is another for Buitrago who out works the Thai, the crowd going mental late on as Knockout lands some solid shots. The crowd MAY have a say in this come the final bell. 39-37 on my card for the visitor

 

round 5 Knockout landing some solid shots, the Buitrago jab is busy but very ineffective and it appears the Nicaraguan is having some real issues with controlling the distance and temp. 3-2 Buitrago but the bout is turning

 

round 6 and it looks like Buitrago is being walked down. The Nicaraguan still has a nice jab but there is NOTHING on it and Knockout is landing all the big blows, Knockout is looking crude but still very strong.

 

round 7 accidental head clash...and no red card from the doctor fight goes on! Knockout looked to have won the round which appeared to be VERY short. 4-3 Knockout

 

round 8-Knockout looking a little tired now, Buitrago lands a few lovely flurries, Knockout tries to steal the round late but fails. 4-4

 

round 9-VERY hard round to score. Knockout probably takes it due to his power shots but he is looking ragged right now and doing his best to hit and hold. VERY tough fight for both. 5-4 Knockout

 

Another close round. The work I remember is Knockouts which appears to be the eye catching stuff, Buitrago's jabs don't look powerful but have swollen up Knockout's face, especially his eyes. Don't think we'll see a stoppage though. 6-4 knockout

 

Scrappy action in round 11 with Knockout again landing the heavier and harder blows. I see this one being controversial come the final tallies but it's one that has had a lot of "what do you like?" rounds. 7-4 knockout on my card due to his power shots but I understand others scoring it 7-4 Buitrago for his work rate and jab.

 

Knockout did very little in the round, clear and easy round for Buitrago but he needed a stoppage IMO. 115-113 Knockout.

NO ARGUMENT if it's 115-113 to Buitrago though. Good fight. Hopefully have the cards translated soon
