Main event just about to start! Under-card has seen wins for Noknoi (who won a 59th straigth fight) and Wanheng Menayothin (who is creeping up to 49-0)
1-Knockout applying pressure, Ono getting the jab out early and frequently, constant stalking by the champion who looks to be the slower man but he's certainly not getting out of first gear this early, a lot of Ono's shots falling very short. Ono looked to control range, Knockout happily had a scouting mission. A very close 10-9 Ono. Neither really landed anything of note
2-Knockout seems to have moved into second gear, Ono still trying to control the range but Knockout is stepping into his shots now, Ono being forced cope with the pressure and work more, a right hand from Knockout lands, a solid left from Ono, neither landing frequently here - get a feeling Knockout hasn't shared much ring time with a southpaw. A solid right on the clacker by Knockout. 10-9 Knockout in Thailand
Round 1: 10-9 Ono Round 2: 10-9 Knockout (very close round. Gave to Knockout for cleaner punches and consecutive rights at the end of the round that landed) 19-19
3-Knockout starting faster and gets the crowed behind him early, Ono trying to stick to his game plan of boxing at range but Knockout is beginning to cut the ring off and force Ono to fight fire with fire, a stiff right hand from Knockout, Ono happy to tie up when Knockout lands, Knockout is landing pretty regularly now, another stiff right. Bout has changed and Knockout is looking in total control
4-Knockout continues to amp it up and Ono is looking worried, Knockout just walking Ono down, landing a right, rinse and repeat. Not much creativity about it but Ono has no answer other than to hold or retreat, left uppercut from Knockout, A left from Ono seem to hurt Knockout, an other and Knockout slips to the canvas (slip), looks like Ono MIGHT have some power to bail himself out IF Knockout wades in, Ono ROCKED!
Round 1: 10-9 Ono Round 2: 10-9 Knockout Round 3: 10-9 Knockout Round 4: 10-9 Knockout 39-37 Knockout
5-Knockout continues with his constant pressure, Ono seems to realise he needs to change and lets loose with a left, Ono takes a combination but fire back before holding now and actually backed Knockout up for a second. Trading in the center of the ring for a moment. Ono letting his left go more often, obviously well aware that he needs to fight, both land straights, Knockout continues to land the harder, cleaner blows, hard left from Ono, Ono wobbled hard...and he holds and holds and the bell saves him! He almost went there!
Round 1: 10-9 Ono Round 2: 10-9 Knockout Round 3: 10-9 Knockout Round 4: 10-9 Knockout Round 5: 10-9 Knockout 49-46 Knockout
6-Ono looks likr he has recovered. Hard right from Knockout who will be looking to repeat his hurtful shot from the previous round. Ono looking more tentative but he is looking to set a trap for his left hand, a better round over-all for Ono but that's more because he didn't get made into a magnet for right hands...
Round 1: 10-9 Ono Round 2: 10-9 Knockout Round 3: 10-9 Knockout Round 4: 10-9 Knockout Round 5: 10-9 Knockout Round 6: 10-9 Knockout 59-55 Knockout
