7-Ono trying to fight back, both looking tired, good right hand from Knockout, pace has slowed with Ono looking to just land counter left hands and Knockout not taking too many risks whilst coming forward, Ono holds and gets pushed down, a solid left from Knockout, Ono has now run out of ideas and Knockout seems to sense a finish, hard body shot from Knockout, Ono takes a bomb but remains up right, trading shots with Ono on the ropes - gutsy SOB!
Round 1: 10-9 Ono Round 2: 10-9 Knockout Round 3: 10-9 Knockout Round 4: 10-9 Knockout Round 5: 10-9 Knockout Round 6: 10-9 Knockout Round 7: 10-9 Knockout 69-64 Knockout
8-Pace has gone again, 2 big right hands from Knockout are the only highlight of the first 40 seconds, Ono again looks to have recovered, Knockout being very conservative with his output, Ono with a very nice little burst, Knockout looks the more tired of the two men here and Ono actually looks like he has seen off the best Knockout has to offer...still lost the round though
9-Knockout starting the round with a big body shot, now it's just mauling from Knockout who again looks tired, this looks like Ono's big chance to turn it around but they keep getting caught up in each others arms and very little clean is coming from either man, tappy body shots up close from both, solid left from Ono, and more mauling, nice burst from Knockout but the shots aren't having much effect, more messy mauling action, Ono happier to stand his ground now...really looking like Knockout might be lucky this isn't a 15 rounder...
10-Knockout lands a hook, they both land but both are looking feather fisted at the moment - likely due to exhaustion, knockout with a good body shot, Ono is going to kick himself for not upping the ante when Knockout was slowing. Ono down from a hook! Up at 8... looks fine but that was a solid KD. Knockout seeking a finish but realises Ono's not done. 10-8 Knockout.
11-Ono now letting his hands go a bit more and lands a lovely straight left, body shot from Knockout, Ono with a stiff left and a good right, he suddenly gets Knockouts respect for 1/2 second, Ono again coming forward and showing some ambition. Much better round form Ono but too little too late.
12-Ono coming forward more here but Knockout sends him backwards, mauling and it appears both have made an agreement to see out the final round. Knockout throwing himself at Ono and holding...Ono swinging for the fences in the later stages - where was that attitude early you wally?
Punctuating a RBR post with the name 'Knockout' is confusing as hell. Or maybe I'm just way too drunk.
