yeah me too so youre very good i play bad with the slugger style altough i beated ali joe louis ken norton but archie moore is hard
I loved slugger style, Archie Moore's body blaster can be a pain, but the key to Moore is circleing around him and countering any shots he miss. Cheap and lame and Al and all that but it works lol.
also other think i like is the facial damage it looks cool i love to give camacho a beating with both eyes swelling to the max
Butterbean: Power should be lower, so should speed and stamina should be a helluva lot lower. Cuts aswell as you say. With those stats he's competitive with the greats, that isn't fight. He was a club-fighter. Jack Dempsey: I would take his chin down simply because I don't think it as good as 100 would warrant. It was very , very solid no doubt, but not an absolute granite jaw like a 100/100 would suggest. Joe Frazier: Even as a big fan, take his power down a bit, and his chin a little bit. Again he had a a very good chin, but 95 should be reserved for the very, very best. Michael Grant: Over-rated. 99's pretty much across the board. Again he's on the level of greats there and he wasn't. Larry Holmes: Take his chin down a notch, again very good and he had great recuperative skills, but 100? Nah. Power down a little bit aswell, again good power bit if I'm thinking out of 10, would I be verging on giving him a 9 as an 88 would be close to? No, I wouldn't. Evander Holyfield: Power I wouldn't be giving him a 9.5/10, no way. Down to a more solid 75 or something. Stamina down aswell a bit. Lennox Lewis: Again, massive fan but I'd give his chin an 8 in real-life probably, so 80 here. Stamina down a little. Joe Louis: Chin down a little. I tend to think it was better than most, but 99 suggests undentable. Archie Moore: Chin down a bit, perfectly at HW. Ken Norton: Chin down a little bit. It was crackable, they might have been big punchers, but an 8.5/10 suggests they might be able to take a few digs from a big puncher. Floyd Patterson: Same thing, chin. Again I tend to feel it wasn't as bad as some, but 8.5/10 would be too high. Earnie Shavers: Possibly heart and chin a little. David Tua: Perhaps a little decrease on stamina, not sure. Muhammad Ali: Power should be a little bit lower, a little bit more modest. Frank Bruno: Stamina down a little for me. -- I realise you have mentioned a lot of these. To be honest I haven't played Knockout Kings so I wouldn't know how these ratings reflect, but if we are comparing those to real-life ratings that I would give those fighters in those departments, some are off and all of them are too high in general. A lot of 100's and 99's floating around.
For the time, it look real lol. Seeing how dated it was, yeah its pretty bad. I loved the face damage. Marciano though never stop on cuts in real life, in the game can get chop up and dice easy. Ali you need the act of God to cut him most cases. Very real in regards to cuts. Takes 8 or 9 rounds before Fraizer swells up, and when your eyes are closeing, the cut is the next thing.
I give a BIG slack on Grant though, like I said, the guy was unbeating, we didnt know if that chin was steel or glass, I expected the Grant Lewis fight to go past the 5 rounds that happen. The media was calling Grant the next big thing. Had the game been remade today, I sure Grant's stats would be lower. So I let that slide.
