What fighters that fit this description would you tell a young fighter to study?

Without a shadow of doubt - Roberto Duran.

Specifically, his fight with Carlos Palomino.

    has to be tyson

most of his punches came perfectly from the body and his punches were very snappy.. (In his prime)

Copy that. Hagler was more of a skilled brawler than he got credit for. Tito's cross and hook were absolutely textbook every time.

Tyson , Marciano , Hagler , Tito and JCC. If a tall guy wanted to be a pressure fighter i would show them Hearns and Lewis when they come out brutal. Foreman if they were a little slower.

    Your joking about Pryor?

His style was completely un-sound technically. Horrible and disjointed even.

Yes, you can't get much better than Louis technically but I'd probably mention Frazier or Duran if you want to study textbook pressure.
