I don’t watch anywhere near as much boxing now asi dud years ago. However, when I do, I rarely see a clean one punch KO. I don’t see many quick knockouts. I see lots of guys get worn down in the late rounds but fewer “Mccallum came out of the blue and put Donald Curry on his back” type endings. I know part of the problem is I haven’t been watching as much. I don’t get Showtime and rarely pay for any fights. Are knockouts more rare? I always think boxer are so focused on defense now they’re rarely wide open.

Lots of the power punchers also dont set up shots well enough to score a 1 punch KO.

It's probably just that they're pretty rare, but when you see them you remember them.

    You’re right. It’s always memorable.

Now if only I can remember the last one that I saw .... :duh
