Know any GOOD boxing movies?

Somebody up There Likes Me is my fav. It is the same story as rocky. Sly ripped it off down to the shy girlfriend. On the other end is a movie called "oppisite corners." This was not just the worst boxing movie i have ever seen, it was the worst movie period.

 

Michael Mann sucks. Ali is just one example

 

How about Ricky Martin: The Comeback Story?

 

Insanely good movie.
The rocky of pro wrestling.

 

i thought fightgirl was prettty good with michelle rodriguez

 

I thought that was a great film. Low budget, tongue in cheek... Sort of a dodgeball for the boxing community

girl fight was pretty good. good shots of [insert name of famous gym that name escapes me] in it. but more of a boxing mentality. not really about boxing just a point about commitment and relationship inside that.

 

Is that that movie where the white dude gets locked up for beating the **** out of this boxing coaches son (danny glover) and then when he gets out he helps the white dude who beats up his son beat the black dude that is the champion?

Their was another good boxing movie I was watching on showtime but I didn't get the name. It was this mexican dude who was a boxer who gets out of the pen and he teaches this young boy who live in the apatment across from him how to box, and the young boys dad is a dick and always beating on him and his mom. Anybody know the name of that movie?
