Enzo would have been stopped by the 7th round. Good management though, Enzo got a nice payday but hopefully this fight will not ruin him. He is still a top 10 crusierweight IMO.
Now we see why Ding wanted no part of Haye, he couldn't beat BJ Flores. Haye would have that guy out of there in 2 rounds.
IMO it was because ding was dangerous but brought no money with his danger. enzo will still be in the frame and perhaps ding will be as well and then the fight will be made this time around.
enzo could box circles round ding all night,no disrespect for ding because i like him for what he is, a big brawler but he stands not much of a chance against enzo.
If I was under the influence like the Flores fight, I probably would have been in a little trouble. I got a letter from the PA commision yesterday stating how they couldnt believe how I actually made thru the end of that fight with the amount of benzodiazephine, nordiazepam, oxazepam and temazepam the showed up in my test. If any of you know what those things are than you would realize that I was very close to zombie level when I was in the ring. I know you're thinking why would I have taken them the night of the fight, but most of you know why I did it from my post a month ago. They are trying to stop me from fighting unless they get another test showing proof that those are out of my system due to the danger I'm in and immediate fatigue they cause when you try to exert any energy. Now that I have gone to a "special" doctor and we discovered the real root of my problem, I have to say that I have never been nearly this fast and athletic in my boxing career. Its kinda too personal, but I'm sure it'll come out eventually. Also, I didn't fight last night. I believe I'm gonna fight next weekend against anyone who wants to fight me. It will take place somewhere in VA. Btw, big props to Haye for a great performance last night. I wish him well when he goes up. Good guy
Ding has neither the speed nor the reach to catch Enzo in the way Haye did. He obviously has a punchers chance, but he'd have to sit at the end of Enzo's long jab all night hoping for a chance to find it. Ding was outboxed by Flores and Nwodo for large parts of their fight. I rate Enzo above both of them so see no reason why he couldn't do it too. As somebody said already, Ding brings plenty of danger but little money or recognition so the fight was never a likely option.
Mac could win a UD against Ding but he could also be KO'd cold and whilst I do rate Mac at Cruiser the reality is that he has not fought anyone who has the ability to close him down and KO him until last night, and he got starched. His best win was over a shot Braithewaite and it is unlikely he can stop Ding so he would have to avoid all the power shots for 12 rounds and that is not going to be easy. Would be a great fight to watch, and I do think Mac is good enough to win a world title, I would pick him over the likes of Huck for sure.
I like ding but lets be realistic, at the moment he isn't a top ten cruiserweight this may be due to factor's outside his control but on current showing enzo is better than him. I think that ding might be able to beat enzo but if i was him and i had some of these problems i wouldn't fight until i was fully fit as it is juts making him look bad.
ding i'm sorry you're a very exciting fighter, but haye is a world apart from all the CWs out there,he really is a shining light to the bigger weight classes,i know you have to believe you could take out macc but i personally don't see it,in your last few fight you have come across too one dimensional and with maccs big reach and powerful jab i dont see you getting a ko,yes you would have your moments but macc doesnt exactly tickle either.
