Just been watching the last season of The Shield, and **** it's good!

I think theres just one more episode to go, and it's building up really well.

 

atm i am haly walf through downloading the first 5 season, so i cant wait to get to see it all start, then ill jump onto season 6

 

I hope I dont dishearten you, but for me the show only really starts at season 3. The first 2 seasons arent really that relevant to what it's building up to.
Although, something really major happens in the very first episode.

You might find it a bit repetetive at times, but it's worth it just to see the last season. Season 5 was great for me as well.

 

Yeah i have seen bits and pieces of the show, just not fll on.

Like the armenian money train, etc.
But is the end of season 5 when some dies (dont wanna ruin it for others).
Cos i watched that and was like damn man, whyd that happen.

But i have missed heaps too, so cant wait til a couple of wks, no exams, can catch up on it

Heres what I'm up to on my week off.

Since I started following boxing last year after nearly a decade away, I've started collecting fights again. Heres my current collection.

Roughly 100 DVDs in each drawer and some that I bought they came with covers. Around 220 in total and funnily enough only 2 of those, the green 5 disc pack and the Harding fight are the only ones I've bought from a shop.

With this years tax return I sent through a big order to the UK, luckily while the Aus dollar was still healthy. They finally arrived last week. This is them.

Roughly another 160 discs with one package of 10 AWOL and apparantly some more due any day. Also notice the fantastic signed jumper in the background there.

So now comes the fun part of labelling and cataloging, luckily I have no life so this will be a highlight of my week.

Up to a couple of thousand fights now which I know is still well short of some peoples. One thing I've noticed is, theres always a certain fight you're either missing or after, theres always a few pieces missing.

I've got the Harding/Andraes fight on video. I picked it up a few years ago for $4 at basement books in the CBD.
