yeah i am now, i didnt watch the stream as it was choppy, i think it got spoiled for m though, someone in the comments section ruined it i think.

 

I've been a massive fan of the Cruiserweight division for years now. Easily one of Boxing's best kept secrets.

I think if anything it shows how weak the division is when a guy who couldn't cut it at Light heavy, and really only won his belt due to it being a weak division at the time can go up and be a major force.

Guys like Mormeck and Bell are very average, technically poor as far as comparing them to other world class fighters go.

Haye was the only real talent that has been there for years. Guys like Guillemero Jones and Wayne Braithewait were at the top for a while, i think that says a lot about the division personally. These guys are woeful fighters to be considered among the best in the division.

You look at the talent of guys like Dawson, Calzaghe, Kessler and Hopkins etc etc.... Genuine p4p talent in the surrounding divisions. Then look at the guys at cruiser. BIG difference.

I actually think this division is weaker then the heavily criticised heavyweight div.

Guys like Povetkin and Eddie Chambers are leagues above these guys in terms of their skill sets.

 

None of that really bothers me. The difference is that these guys are prepared to fight each other rather than talk about it for 3 or 4 years. Unlike the Heavyweights, they also turn up in shape. Nothing pisses me off more than so called "professional athletes" looking like Arreola and Toney. Today's fight is easily the fight of the year so far. Best Cruiser fight since Holyfield v Qawi I, some are calling it.

 

Fair enough. Personally i find them pretty sloppy to enjoy at times, but i guess that is pretty subjective. Adamek is always fun to watch though. The guy has a nose that is made for right hands

I think his gameplan against Briggs was to break Pauls fist with his face.

 

Download today's fight mate, you'll enjoy it. The undercard fight was a war too! Hands down card of the year I'd say.

 

I'll see if i can track it down. I've been having trouble getting fights consistently since i got blocked from that site. Its been a while now though, they might let me back on again...
