It was called minus 5 i think.lol.Too pissed before i got th even there to care.All i know it cost 30bucks for each of us to enter for 30mins of freezing our nuts off in -9degrees temp.

You aint even allowed to take pics in there as they have a camera lady who takes like 1 or 2 pics for you for a cheap cost of 25bucks..

Inside was like tiny as with ice sculptures all around it (they were actually pretty good).

So all in all it cost me and the missus 85bucks in all for 25mins(we left because it was **** and cold)of so call ENTERTAINMENT.

I cant recommend the place to any of you guys unless you love looking at ice sculptures and standing around freezing you knackers off..

The rest of my night was mad,had italian in leichart beforehand then after the Minus 5 Bar went to a wateringhole only circular quay and hit the turps hard..

Ended up home in bed by 3.30 and now only have a mild headache and horrible tasting mouth..

Ohwell off to have a shower and head off to watch the sugar dance around Cotto for a exciting 10round stoppage.:hi:

 

I think it was vodka and pinneapple juice that we had..It was fairly refreshing as im usually just a beer drinker.

Also i wouldnt be surprised if they had these minus 5 bars in all major cities.

With there prices they are laughing all the way to the bank.

 

Very cold place......hard to enjoy...more like a one off thing....maybe go in summer after some very hot days

 

Where has boxing_banker gone? Haven't seen him since his bday, and I owe him a f*cking hideous avatar!!! He has dropped off the face of ESB. Anyone here heading away over the new year? I am doing a 2 week cruise around vanauatu (spelling?) which should be a decent way to unwind. Not sure what the plan are for new years yet...

 

has anyone ever gone to a caravan site and stayed there? because i thinking for the new years holiday to go for 5 nites down the coast or up lol either way and stay at caravan parks cos i need somewere to shower lol.... any ideaas or tips from anyone?

 

I have stayed at caravan parks on the sunshine coast (dickies and caloundra) and it has always been reasonable. I just stayed in a cabin. You are like 100m from the water, and it has everything you need for a holiday (bathroom, toilet, fridge, oven ect). Problem is you have to get in early. You are most probably too late now.

 

oks cools its all booked going to ulladulla/mollymook for the new years should be good fun, i wanted to book a place at coffs harbour right close to water but the problem was i dont think anyone wants to be driving 6 hours straight on double demerits on the way back...

 

Sounds good,though i would rather 1week then 2.Think i would struggle to party on the ship for 14days straight.

Yeah single atm, but I am going with family. Still, I have a seperate cabin, so I hoping I can pick up. I will have no trouble at all partying for that long. The weekend of the JC v Kessler fight I went 3 days straight with only a couple hours sleep. For some reason I just have heaps of endurance and can back it up, although i don't know if my wallet can handle it. On the downside, it probably takes a year off my life every time I do it, so I am trying to tone things down a bit. I usually have a really big bender of a weekend, and then a couple quite ones, and then get back into it again. Its like a cycle.

 

You will enjoy that mate!! Who are you going with? Because lots of people go alone.

 

Whats up yall? Im baaaaaaaaack! I was spending too much time on here and i needed to study exams are nearly over so its all good.

Firstly, i was very disappointed in Calvin Brock.... as i feared he came into the fight out of shape and didnt look motivated. I dont think he has been the same since getting belted by Klit

Secondly, awesome effort by JC. I really thought MK had this one in the bag; i underestimated JC's ability to adapt to any style (it was unbelievable) and also his ability to take MK's big punches. Well deserved champion.

Thirdly, Cotto fought a great fight the other day. I had to laugh when i thought of how crazy MSTR would have been going at the pub. He ran SSM ragged for 12 great rounds and the myth about his weak chin has def. been debunked

Good to be back lads! sorry pecks, didnt get your invite to watch the MK vs JC until today i have been MIA since November 1st. But i will be there next time for sure mate!

Nothing special. Just been cleaning up in the tipping, handing out avatars and winning heaps of v cash. Nothing out of the ordinary. The boards went pretty crazy after the two fights. Looking forward to Cotto v Mayweather now, crazy fight for both guys. Whoever wins will almost certainly cement their legacy as one of the greats.
