You'll always get people ranting and raving on about politics and religion, it'll be hard to put a stop to it.

The whole Moralman thing is so boring now, I'm convinced it's just one big joke with the mods. He's been reinstated about 20 times now, and it's the same old **** everytime, and every now and then he'll gain some infidel followers who think his way of posting is cool.

I stayed away from the lounge for the first year or so I was at ESB, I remember my first experience of the lounge, a poster called "Terry" caught my eye with a thread called "Ever have sex with your pets?"
I never went there for a good year or so after that, and posted my league, and football talk in here and in the Euro section.

I enjoy ESB, I like the feel and the freedom of it but sometimes theres just nothing going on here for me.

 

i know what you mean pecks... often i browse the various topics and it all seems repeated and boring. The funny real life stories are the best thing about the lounge but lately they are drowned out by gay threads called stuff like "the neo conservative political agendas of blah blah blah"

True, whats even worse is the repetition of threads asking "is such and such moral?"

I like hearing some of the travel stuff as well, and the woman threads are absolutely fantastic at work hahaha. But there are too many morons, or weird hermits who think they have god like intelligence. Occasionally you do find some interesting topics, but 9 times out of 10 its not even worth a look. Sometimes i get the feeling if i met half of the people in real life, they would be dead set freaks who you wouldn't give the time of day.

 

How was your trip to Euorpe anyway mate? Anything interesting?? I've just booked my Contiki for the Greek Islands, should be fantastic.

 

yeah it was good man... just a nice trip before uni started up again. Went to the UK, France and Israel (got a mate who works there and am also interested in religious history even though im not religious at all)

I thought yeah probably just some1 taking the **** abit.But then when i clicked into the thread and seen that there was over 10plus pages of blokes actually arguing over who would win.Like they were all getting seriously heated about the topic.

I honestly flipped out and never returned back there.lol.

Oh thats a lie.....I went back to see all the dickheads give it to collette.

I found it hilarious how she was being called a total nutter by people who argue of Giant Squids and Jaws etc.

Kind of sums up her mental state.
