yeah its the take off and landing that get him - its the change in atmospheric pressure that is the issue as for drinking on the plane - i rarely have more than 3 or 4. If you get **** faced you get really dried out because of the altitude and cabin conditions (very dry most of the time) and feel **** house. Plus the jet lag is 100 times worse hey.
I brought a new soccer ball back on the plan and i got told off because they said the pressure could pop it.
Are you serious?! Now I'm picturing my plane trip looking like the scene in Total Recall where they get sucked outside in Mars. :yikes
yep go to a doctor and say you have panic attacks when you fly... tell him Dr Gonzo gave you permission to obtain a script for some short term benzodiazepines. That should do the trick
I've never had a panic attack before. But being sedated sounds kinda cool. Does your mate take them when he flies, or can't he fly fullstop?
nah he cant fly fullstop... but if he has a $20,000 operation they should be able to fix it right up. Just gotta find the money first  also, yall should take asprin the night before, the day you fly and the day after to avoid clots :good im going to start charging soon
Sounds pretty severe. My mate who has epilepsy said that he knew a guy who had epilepsy also and had surgery that released some air that built up in his head. Said it was a bit pricy too.
Yeah I only go to the GPO cause some of my mates are younger and i dont really fit in but its good for a geezer. I was at the Normanby a few weeks back on a Sunday, the fishos down here on the coast is good for a Sunday sesh. I hate flying and hate heights...i try to avoid plances whenever i can.
I just turned 26. I only go to Birdies occaisionally for a few beers mid-week. I haven't gone out on the weekend for months. When I was about 18-21 I was out all the time and all weekend. Your priorities tend to change with age and you like different stuff. I'm training my arse off for the Brisbane marathon at the moment and afterwards am hoping to get back into boxing and strength training. I miss boxing heaps.:|
Yeah i miss boxing as well. Its just to hard a sport to do though, far too time consuming. I have such an active social life, i dont' have time to commit to it like i want to. I constantly think about going back and training, but always change my mind, which is probably in all honestly for the better.
anyone seen any good movies lately? i was crook yesterday so i watched Hitman, We Own the Night and Juno all pretty good... i actually liked Hitman. The girl in it is an absolute minx... and gets naked lots awwwwww snap Olga Kurylenko her name is i believe
Nothing new since last time I posted about movies. I'm watching Sopranos again. It's like catching up with an old friend again. I also watched season 2 of Entourage last week. Initially I didn't like that show, but when I first started watching it I was already glued to The Sopranos, and I can't get into 2 shows at once.
