knuckle pushups to strengthen hands?

    I don't see those strengthening your hands...wrists, forearms definitely.

    i think his coach might have meant to strengthen his hands as in his knuckles???

    I only ever do knuckle pushups, find them easier..

    I like them because normal pushups put undue strain on my wrists. They won't hurt you, that's for sure. So do em!

    they will hurt at first, but under the stress , over time bones will grow stronger due to calcification to meet the demands of the stress placed upon the body, in saying that, same applys for hitting the bag


    face pushups are great for preparing the body to take shots hahaha

    he wants you to do them to lessen strain on the wrist when the hand is open
     
  9. I have known this to be an age old karate technique. I know my technique changes when I do it, it is not a whole like a regular push up.

    Scrap has an interesting point but i feel strong benefit doing them so I'll have to keep it in mind.

    There are simple clues Here,1Hands were not made to Punch.2 they were adopted to carry and Hold and Push. Which made them adapt to how they are, the thumb being a big player in creating our IQ. 3 dont try and change something overnight, that took millions of years to create :lol:.
