Donaire was a good knockout, but Ding's was another level. He was down in the fight, and it just collapsed the guy.
I like Nonito's. It was a perfect KO that came out of perfect planning and delivery. Wilson's was just wild and Nwoudo was already hurt and stumbling, we knew he was gonna get knocked out.
But, you also have to keep in mind the other things that were going on. Ding had just evened it up (pretty much) by winning the last round and knocking him down. It was still anyones fight when Ding ROCKED HIM....folded him so to say. Donaire was winning that fight pretty easily and had already landed a few well placed lefts leading up to that. It was the icing on the cake...in a manner of speaking. Like I said, it was a great, great KO....but Ding's was just WOW!
I guess...but also keep in mind who it was against. Nwoudo had been KO'ed like twice already and Darchinyan had never been down or even hurt.
Nwodo's previous TKO losses were on cuts, both times against heavyweights. Supposedly, he'd never actually been down, and he'd never been rocked at Cruiser.
Just keep talking. Your doing a great job. Hadn't even considered some of the points you've made to justify Donaires being the "sweet science" greater KO, compared to the wildness of the Wison/Nwodo fight & KO. :good
That was a beautiful job Donaire did. So calm & confident. I freakin' LOVED IT!!!!!!:happy I missed the interviews but heard that Darchinyan was a real jerk & SAID HE WASN'T HURT! :rofl
Voted for Ding, but not taking anything away from Donaire. Devastating left hook, and excellent timing.
This content is protected He was down for a few minutes. Just precautionary, I guess. Both KO's were equally great. I'm definitely not gonna argue with you, Ding, my man! I think Vic may have suffered a broken nose. A VERY BIG broken nose!:!:
