KO of the year!!! Miranda vs. Banks

Wlad laying out Iggy could be, I certainly wouldnt be surprised to see that. Wlad knocking out Brock was one of my favorite knockouts, and obviously Peter knocking out Williams, "No one could handle my power".:yep

I think they trying to control Miranda's emotion he was very mechanical but brutally efficient the right hand came like a hammer and people got what they came to see I think Pascal is on the dead row.

Definitely a great KO, I seriously thought Banks might have been seriously injured but glad he recovered and everything is fine. But man, that KO was insane.

 

Nice KO, but don't expect much from Miranda at 168

 

Contender guys already 0-1 (KO), let's see how Gomez performs against Cotto

 

Indeed - that is one of the better knockouts I've seen in awhile. Right up there with Green's punch-out of Codrington and virtually any other one-punch starch-out you could name.

 

Come on guys! Looked like a lightheavy fighting a welterweight. Banks did not belong in there with Miranda. He is a beefed up light middle at the best, and could not hurt anyone down there. This was all a hype for Pascal and Miranda to meet down the road - which will be a mistake for Pascal. He is over rated also!

 

so does this legitimately have a chance to be ko of the year? i was their live and it was ridiculous... i hope it was ko of the year so i can say i saw it live

 

walk with me, did the punch sound as sickening live as it did on TV? man that shot sounded like a starting pistol went off! awesome KO to ring in 2008. Pascal is taking a siesta when he and miranda finally meet.

 

haha the funny thing about the whole thing is.....

where i was sitting (10 rows back from behind atlas & tessitore) the crowd was kinda bored with the fight up until before the ko.. imo the whole arena was really... round 1 was slow ... round 2 was a lil better but not by much... only because all the fights previous to this one were either ko's or exciting throughougt (pascal & pittman)... this fight seemed boring.... so people were watching but around me atleast were not paying 100% attention.... so when the punch did land it caught EVERYONE! totally off guard you just see a right hook and then banks legs dangling ..... it just happened so fast it was insane... i think if i had been paying 100% attention would have noticed the sound but all i remember after seeing it was jumping up and down and asking my brother if it just really happened.... out rageous ko and definitely worth my money

Miranda's KO punch reminded me a bit of the way Vitali sometimes punched. We've never seen the big guys best shot 'cause he always held some of it back for fear of getting out of position.

Edison didn't have more than 50-60% on it and yet it rocked Banks.
No follow-through, didn't wind up much, just threw it.

I don't know how good Banks' chin is, but that was the proverbial home-run.

Despite some considerable shortcomings overall, this guy will always have a possibility scoring a one punch KO against anyone in the division.

 

Miranda has the KO power to do it to anybody. Tonight it was Banks but it could be anybody or it could be Pascal next.With his power he always has a chance to win a fight.
