What was the best knockout of this year in your opinion (so far)? I have included only hight-profile fights, so some brutal KO's like Sirenko vs Robutti or Maxwell vs Sediri won't be in this list. Don't get me wrong - brutal KO is a brutal KO on any level, but low-profile fights rarely get recognition. In 2002 Rich LaMontagne scored one of the most spectacular and most brutal knockouts in boxing history in the fight against Michale Bennett, yet The Ring Magazine named Lewis vs Tyson as its KO of the year. Lewis vs Tyson KO was MILLIONS times worse in everything - from pure brutality to aestethic look. But it was a big fight and LaMontagne vs Bennet wasn't.... You can watch this KO on the video below at 7:46 This content is protected And here are 6 KO's that made my list in "KO of the year" in 2019 (so far): Wilder vs Breazeale This content is protected Haney vs Moran This content is protected Dorticos vs Tabiti This content is protected Donaire vs Young This content is protected Alvarez vs Kovalev https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cE_hIbWXtvs Chisora vs Szpilka https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6kIN5DPUfo
Easily Szpilka. Those picking Breazeale, you know he got up right ? Edit : I guess not even with video evidence ( that's scary ) I hope you guys understand that bc a clip ends with someone on their back it doesn't mean the fight ended there sometimes at least ? You guys are voting a top knockout by Wilder when the guy still almost beat the 10 count as opposed to other knockouts that put the fighter in true la la land and wasn't even coherent ? Im not even sure Wilders knockout should be included bc top knockouts are guys who don't get off their fronts or backs on the canvas or are unable to stand in general . lol
