Koki Kameda is a 5'5.5 27 year old Super Flyweight with a 33-1 17 KO's record. Born in Osaka, Osaka, Japan and fighting out of Tokyo. He is part of the Kameda Dynasty the most famous fighting family in Japan. He's the son of Japanese trainer Shiro Kameda and the older brother of Daiki and Tomoki Kameda and he handles the duties of running Kameda Promotions. He has a near flawless record his only loss coming by way of a MD to Wonjongkam, and a very questionable SD win over Landaeta in which he won the Light Flyweight title and retained it via UD over Landaeta in a rematch. He won the Lineal Flyweight title off of Naito and captured the vacant Bantamweight title as well. In Octoberr Kameda will make history when he fights fellow countryman Kohei Kono on US Television on US soil which will mark the first time ever that an all Japanese match has taken place here in The States. So Check Him Out and get to know the Fighting Fists Of Osaka beforehand. :toney:toney:toney:toney

With the Kono fight coming up I did a hardcore search for Koki footage and unearthed a shocking amount. Might take a few weeks to get it all up (along with footage of Akinori Watanabe, Daiki Kameda and Yu Kimura's debut!)

Will send you a PM CST when they are up!

:good Thanks and I've been meaning to flesh this thread out for awhile, I did this one on a night when I did about 6 Flyweight threads and didn't do him justice, I'll rework the whole thing maybe today or tomorrow.

Got 37 total files to upload, 7 are Koki, more than 4GB of files in total, could be a while until I sort through them all.

PM Sent. Should help beef this thread up, I'm particularly delighted with how much of his career was filmed around the time of his first world title fight.

His form for the last 3 or 4 years is just awful.

However, his resume and accomplishment and list of guys he's beaten, as well as the form he showed in his prime, is actually very, very underrated. Most people just fancy his name dropping as a joke or hold his several questionable victories in recent fights against his whole career too much.

Koki Vs Kono tonight on SpikeTV Be There (in monster truck commercial voice)

This will be history making its the first time 2 Japanese fighters have fought one another on US soil, and most likely the first time guys with nothing but K's for initials have fought as well. KK Vs KK:lol:
