The man is back. This gym thing in Japan is quite confusing. To be a professional fighter you have to be aligned to a gym and there is a very large fee that has to be paid to the Japanese boxing commission to open up a gym and put fights on.
Koki Kameda, baby! He might as well fight top guys and probably lose as opposed to fighting relative tomato cans and in the eyes of most viewers losing anyway. I don't even know how I would assess or describe his falloff and deficiencies of late other than dramatically negative. I am a huge fan of the Kameda's, though. Koki's W over Daisuke Naito is a better victory than most active boxers have so in that regard he actually warrants more respect than he gets.
The Gym thing in Japan isn't confusing, it's brilliant and stops promoters from making all their bouts internally.
