    A purse bid between WBA "super" bantamweight champ Anselmo Morena and regular champ Kameda was ordered for Dec 10. Kameda has vacated his version of the belt instead.

    Was looking forward to watching this 120-106 destruction...

    I'm a big fan of both but Koki's pedestrian outings of late are very discouraging for his whole career outlook. Despite all those horribly close decisions, he is still a bona fide top 10 bantamweight and it would be nice to see Moreno get a high profile bout.

    I dint think the Super vs Regular champs had to Unify.... I mean just look at Floyd's WBA JrMW Belt.. he took Canelos WBA Regular JrMW belt yet the WBA has the Regular Belt as Vacant.........and they wont name Lara into full Regular Champ. he is the Interim champ...


    WBA is a Piece of ****, Boxing org. Lara should be named WBA Regular or the winner of Lara vs Trout :bbb

    Tomoki is the man.

    Daiki fights anyone, makes a good go of it, and has balls of iron.

    Koki, well, he beat Daisuke Naito when Naito was champ so no matter how much hate these forums will give him he has a better single win than most fighters out there including a lot of your heroes in guys like Matthysse, Kovalev, Broner, Golovkin, Bute, etc.

    I consider this to be terrible news. I was very much looking forward to this fight. It would have been a great contrast of styles, and could well have put Moreno on the map in Asia, or Kameda on the map in the Americas. I'm surprised Kameda didn't wait for the result of the purse bid before vacating, I'd have thought he'd at least have been confident about winning a decision in Japan, deserved or not. Hopefully Moreno can find a worthy replacement.
