    Round 4

DDLM comes stalking in with his gorilla crouch and lands a big overhand right, then a left hook to the body. Kameda stays on the outside. DDLM lands a big right hand. Kameda is pushed to the corner. DDLM pushes out several jabs into Kameda's face to gauge distance and then blasts away with more rights and reacquaints Kameda with the left hook to the body. Kameda fights him off in spurts, looking to get free.

    10-9 De La Mora

    39-36 Kameda

    Round 5

Long De La Mora jab. Kameda is circling out wide. De La Mora rolls and spins his fists and takes short measured steps inside. Lunging body attack by De La Mora as Kameda drifts into the ropes and they collide together before a break is called. The Japanese commentator just called "One-a two-a!" in English as Kameda threw one backing up. Cute. De La Mora keeps pursuing Kameda, who suddenly lurches forward with a big flurry that slices the air. De La Mora throws his left arm out through the blur and around Kameda's neck, pulling him into a short right forearm to the face. De La Mora lands a few more hammering blows as he pushes Kameda around the ring.

    10-9 DLM

    48-46 Kameda

    Round 6

They clinch, hug, and spin around very fast on their toes. The referee has to actually jog to catch up to them and split them up. De La Mora puts a spanking on Kameda with the right hand and keeps the left in the mix with set-up jabs and hooks to the body. Kameda is taking wide steps, mostly backward but stopping to slingshot himself forward and drive a lead left through every few paces to buy some time. DLM comes in crouching and gets caught in a headlock. Kameda takes his time letting him go when asked.

    57-56 Kameda

    Round 7

Kameda circles to his right and tosses out a few light jabs. De La Mora harpoons his right to the body from outside. Kameda is forced to cover up, and De La Mora is getting inside behind his two- and three-shot combos but getting clinched. De La Mora walks in confidently and digs a pair of hard rights to the body. Kameda is now getting preemptively grabbed and punched in the belly by De La Mora before he can hold & stall. De La Mora claps a left hook across Kameda's back. Kameda hunches up his shoulders and squeezes himself into a tight ball. Kameda landed a body shot that has the announcers screaming "BUDI BUDI BUDI" but it was all DLM there.

Unless it's a draw, there's absolutely no way I can be completely disappointed with anything that happens here today, in all likelihood.

    Round 8

Kameda pushes out his jab and propels himself backward as it's blocked. Now they circle and kill some time, De La Mora throwing a few long rights to the body and Kameda seemingly unable to make up his mind about whether to come forward or not. Kameda is cracked with a right hand between the gloves. De La Mora keeps whipping the body with left uppercuts and side-door entries. They pause for some reason. Off-camera. Tape on Kameda's glove? De La Mora whips the body. Kameda lands a counter right hook and the crowd overreacts as DLM backs up to the ropes with Kameda trying to follow it up.

    Round 9

Kameda stays outside and slips the end of some jabs, which De La Mora has to reach out and dust with anyway. Sudden lead left by Kameda. Another big reaction from everybody except De La Mora. They stay on separate trajectories, scrapping only when De la Mora comes in bashing away with overhand rights and left hooks that plunk against the armpit of the champion. Nice doubles and triples landed by De La Mora as Kameda looks to pivot and dodge or clinch.

    86-84 De La Mora

    Round 10

Kameda starts out unusually aggressive, jumping in with a right hook. They clinch and there might have been a head clash. Kameda circles right and pops his jab, then suddenly rushes in behind his forearms to literally push De La Mora back. De La Mora bends over to one side and hooks at the body. Big sweeping combos by De La Mora, starting with hooks to the body and trying to bring airborne right hands down from the other side. De La Mora goes down! Off balance from his attack, no knockdown. Kameda blocks the long right of DLM, and clinches him up close. Kameda ducks a hook-2. De La Mora is headlocked again.

10-9 Kameda even though he went almost all defensive in the last half of the round.

    95-94 DLM
