Damn, he almost made it. Between his toughness and Kossobutskiy looking pretty gassed it seemed reasonable that he could last another ~2min. Alas.

The power is real, but I don't trust the Kazakh's ring IQ or conditioning all that much based on this. Room for improvement but not writing him off.

Still way better than Makhmodov though, who doesn't impress me at all in anything other than power and strength

Kossobutskiy looks vulnerable but he has very good power and he is a decent fighter. Nice addition to the heavyweight division.

That power though and he showed some improvements in the Rice fight. Using the jab more, cutting the ring off better.

@SladeW mind if your title gets infused w/ diacritics (and Zhan's middle name)?

Needs to work on that jab, when it came down to it he got outdone in that category. By a very good journeyman but a journeyman nonetheless (and if you're ultimately HW championship hopeful material you've gotta have a good enough jab to not get styled on by any journeymen)

Speaking of highly respectable journeymen, here comes Pavel Semjonov - the pound for pound boxing pride of Estonia :ibutt
