I used to like Pacquiao, but all of this catchweight bull**** has really turned me off him, and as for his team... the less said about them the better. Lets get something straight though, Mnny is challenging Cotto. Cotto is a jnr middleweight, so if Pac wants a part of Cotto, he should man up and fight at 154, or learn to stfu and fight someone his own size. If I wanted to race against Usain Bolt, I wouldn't come out and challenge him to a race, to then say "oh btw, i'll only race you at 1500m (coz you're **** at that distance...)". Cotto has every right to tell them to **** right off... Pac should man up, or shut the **** up!
If you don't believe Pac is a lot smaller than Cotto then you shouldn't complain about Cotto being drained in their first fight since Pac had to bulk up to get to that weight.
But not against pac, either way honestly even if they were to fight at 154, pacquiao is just a bad match up for cotto, yeh he does have a new trainer and fights at 154 and first few rounds will be competitive but cotto is easy to hit and gets his face busted again. Styles makes fights. Cotto fans and mayweather fans make it out like he is a beast at 154 who fought the best fighters in that weight.
Cotto was scared. Its not Pac fans or Koncz. It doesnt matter. Why on god's green earth would someone want to get beat up all over again? You move on, and Cotto has. But it seems to me, Pac haters have double standards and agendas, to make Cotto look like some sort of saint and someone taking the high road. Dude is scared to fight a smaller man and he moved on. Puerto Ricans are prideful people, but please swallow your pride here. Your man got humiliated and emasculated last time and would probably get eaten up all over again. Thus he didnt take the fight
Paul Williams is 6'3.....Mike Tyson is 5'10....Paul's reach is a lot greater than Mikes....doesn't mean Paul is the naturally bigger guy at the end of the day. Sometimes choosing to look at a situation at a surface level will give you a completely different picture from what is reality.
